The Mat-Su valley Frontiersman invites you to share your holiday traditions. We will be running a special pull-out section on Friday, December 17 highlighting how our neighbors celebrate the upcoming holiday season. You’re invited to participate and we welcome submissions in three different categories. Selected submissions will be published in the Holiday Traditions special section.
Holiday Traditions: Please submit a brief (250 words or less) description of your family’s favorite holiday tradition. Include a photo if you like! We’re especially interested in older photos – the older
the better.
Holiday Recipes: Which holiday dish does your family look forward to year after year? Now is the time to show off a bit! Send us your favorite recipe and it may be published so everyone in the Valley can enjoy it.
Letters to Santa: Send us a copy of your child’s letter to Santa, past or present.
There are three easy ways to share your traditions:
1. Email them to [email protected]. Bring them to our offi ce at 5751 E. Mayfl ower Ct. off thePalmer-Wasilla Hwy. We’re open Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm.3. Mail them to us at PO BOX 873509, Wasilla, AK. 99687.
Note: Please don’t give us the only copy of a family heirloom photograph. Have a copy made and give that to us instead.
Submission deadline is Wednesday, December 1. We will contact you if we select your Tradition, Recipe,or Letter to Santa for publication.
