ENGLISH
1 Compose a poem of your own on any one of the following topics-
NATURE
FAMILY
SCHOOL
FRIENDS
FRIENDSHIP
Create a poem of 3 to 4 stanzas on the given topics in your class work notebook
along with colourful illustration.
2 Read story books by Enid Blyton/ Jonathan Swift/Robert Louis(any one) in your
summer holidays .Create a table mat with the characters of the story book that you
read (Any four characters with their names that you liked most).
COMPUTER
Learn and prepare lesson-1 for class test.
Collect the pictures related to topics mentioned below and make a collage on A3 sheet with
information.

Peace- Draw the block diagram of CPU
Victory- Internal memory and External memory.

with the characters of the story in English Holiday Homework. (for all the

SCIENCE
1. Survey on - Honey bee (Roll No. 1 to 16 ) and Ants (Roll No. 17 to 33).
Make a chart showing

b) How many members live in the colony?
c) How they share work?

2. Explore and give a pictorial presentation of unusual flowers growing on the planet earth.
(Write names of the flowers and where they are found) Work to be done on 1/2 chart paper

3. Find out how plastic is recycled (Method) .Write your findings with pictures and mention
things that are made out of recycled plastic. Use chart paper.

4. Collect information about animals living in Polar Regions. Find out harmful effect of
melting snow on animals living in this region. Make a chart.

5. Make a chart showing the colorful flowers that grow in region “Valley of flowers” in
Uttrakhand . Also mention if they are Poisonous and why many flowers found here are
poisonous.
SOCIAL SCIENCE
VALOUR HOUSE
1. Choose anyone physical division found in India. Show its location on the Physical map
of India. Collect information about any one state lying in that landform. You can
describe about their location on India’s map, life of the people, dress, occupation,
vegetation, wildlife, types of houses, handicrafts, monuments, crops grown, soil, major
industries and monuments etc. (To be done in the notebook)
HOPE HOUSE
2. Draw a Timeline showing the Mughal Dynasty. Paste the pictures of Mughal Emperors
and write about their contribution towards India.(To be done in the notebook)
PEACE HOUSE
3. Locate and mark any five wildlife sanctuaries and five national parks on the Political
map of India. Write information about anyone wildlife sanctuary and one national park
in detail with pictures of animals protected in them. (To be done on a chart paper)
VICTORY HOUSE
4. Cut out pictures and headlines from the newspapers showing various services provided
by our government for the welfare of people. Write a few lines on each. (To be done in
the notebook)
