Journals are important elements in many adventure stories. The idea ofa Math Journal came from the movie “Indian Jones and the Lastcrusade”.

When completed the Math Journal looks like an ancient book that is fullof mysterious , challenging and amazing secrets and discoveries.

This could be a hard copy or in the digital form ( depending onyour comfort level with technology)

Your task is to : Create a Math journal of about 50 pages ( at least )to start with and then you could keep adding content as and when youfind something interesting to put .

The journal should contain

• 5 exam type questions from the instructional content learnt inclass 9 .These questions would be of paper 4 type with integrationto various topics learnt so far and each question must have atleast 6 parts. ( 15-20 marks each)

• Pages where you research various mathematical topics on theinternet. These subjects could be history , biographies ,discoveries, and topics of interst.

• Diagrams, charts , graphs, nets and models and a description ofthe same .

• Career page where you select a career ( or what you wish to be infuture) and research on how the knowledge of Math would be

useful. Think beyond just being an engineer, or a lawyer or adoctor or a business man.

• Refer to the site http://digitallesson.com/math-in-the-movies ,select any one movie and watch it. Write a synopsis of the moviein any form you wish to and mention the math talked the movie.Is ther any other movie which you think had math explained I fyes write and explain it in some detail.
