Fruit theme park surrounded by natureIn addition to fruits such as apples, cherries, prunes, and other fruits of Niki, seasonal flowers such as lavender and cosmos can be found throughout the park. There are also greenhouses for raising seedlings, restaurants and shops of local specialty goods. There is playground equipment such as the view-jumbo-slide, and both adults and children can enjoy.

Athletics, park golf, tennis and baseball. It is a park full of sports facilities that can be enjoyed casually with families and friends.

Yoichi River, which runs from Otaru and Asaridake as its source, passes Akaigawa and flows to Niki, Yoichi ,

and the Sea of Japan. Yoichi River is a waterfront space that must be in this area. The river meandering grandly characterizes a regional landscape.

"Niki Cherry Festival", a midsummer event in Niki, held at the Farming Village Fruit Park in early July. You can enjoy the cherry pit spitting competition, bingo game, Yosakoi, Waka-ayu drum, etc. It is a "Hokkaido's Best Cherry" festival which is packed with charms of Niki, where you can eat cherries and play with them.

Held on the first Sunday of October, it is Niki’s largest event in fall. Since it is the harvest season, there is a fresh and abundant array of delicious seasonal fruits and vegetables! You can eat, watch, play, and enjoy the fall harvest with your whole body through events like the grape peel spitting competition and Awaodori, a dance associated with Shikoku’s Tokushima.

Night lighting, fully-equipped ski lifts. The slopes don’t only have courses for everyone from beginning to advanced skiers, they can be enjoyed by the whole family too.

In Fruit town Niki, ingredients go from cultivation to fermentation and selling: Such wine making has begun.

WineJam made using an abundance of fruit chunks as ingredients. Delicious when paired with bread or yogurt.

JamJuice made with squeezed apples, grapes, tomatoes and so on have a deep taste like you are eating the fruit.

JuiceThere are many sweets sold as specialty goods made with ingredients like delicious cherries or tomatoes. In the Morimoto Co. Ltd., we developed the “Kita no Sanpomichi” sweets which use grape cultivar “Suimon.”
