The Hoistracker hasthe following special features:

On-Off IndicatorAny time the TIRAK® is connected to a power supply, the system registers the timeand date of the event and starts to count how many hours the hoist is plugged.

Hour MeterWhentheTIRAK®startstooperate,thehourmeterfunctionwilldetecthowmanyseconds,minutesandhourstheTIRAK®isgoingupordown,separately.Withthisfunction,theUserwillhaveapreciserecordoftheusinghoursinordertoschedulethepreventivemaintenanceandnominalcapacitycertificationaccordingtoannualmaintenanceprogram.

AccelerometerIftheTIRAK®ishandledormovedforanypurpose,thesystemwillsendtheGPSlocationandshowthestatusoftheTIRAK®.Thisfunctionhelpstheusertodetectnon-authorizedhandlingsoftheequipment.

GeolocationThe integrated GPS locates the TIRAK® at any programmed time or by request. Thisfeature provides administrators the ability to better protect their assets, whileboosting productivity.

GeofencingAnotherfunctionavailableintheHOISTRACKER®Appisthegeofencing.TheusercanconfigureinamapavirtualfencearoundtheTIRAK®thatcannotbecrossed.Analarmwillappearintheappwhenthecrossingoccurs.

Antitampering caseThe HOISTRACKER® device includes an anti-tampering sensor that activates an alarmif the operator opens the aluminum cover case of the TIRAK®. This feature allows toreact quickly to unauthorized access to the control box.

Tilting detectionWhen two or more TIRAKs® are operated on suspended platforms, the system candetect an excessive inclination of the platform and activate an alarm.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Voltage measurementThe HOISTRACKER® includes a Voltmeter to measure the difference in electricpotential of the power supply of the TIRAK® remotely. To know the voltage avoidsthe overheating and forcing of the motor and its electrical components. Using theTIRAK® under the minimum tolerance of its nominal voltage or exceeding it cancause severe damages to the electric coil of the motor.

Amperage measurementAnammeterhasbeenincludedintheHOISTRACKER®.ThemeasurementoftheelectriccurrentoftheTIRAK®allowstheusertodetectanychangeintheregularheatandtoevaluatetheperformanceofthemagneticfieldofthemotor.

Overheat detectionTheTIRAK®hasabimetallicstripswitchwhichstopsthemotorandavoidsitsoverheatingwhenadefinedharmfultemperatureisreached.Thisswitchisembeddedinsidetheelectriccoilofthestatorwindingandconnectedtothemaincircuit.Analarmwillbeconfiguredtoindicatethattheoverloadprotectionisactivated.Overloadcanbedetectedbytheelectricalperformanceofthemotorcombiningthevaluesofvoltageandcurrent.Thisfeaturewillbedevelopedduringthenextmonthstooffertherequiredaccuracyoftheindustry.

Phase reversal detectionWhenthephasesequenceofathree-phaseTIRAK®hoistisincorrect,theconnectedmotorrunsintheoppositedirection.Phasereversalusuallyoccursasaresultofmistakesmadeduringequipmentinstallationormodificationstothefacilitypowersystem.TheTIRAK®hoistincludesathree-phasemonitorrelaywithaphasereversalprotection.Therelaywillnotenergizeifthephasesequenceisreversedanditcanstopthemotorifthephasereversaloccursduringoperation.TheHOISTRACKER®includesanalarmwhenthephasesequenceisreversed,sotheoperatorcanmakethenecessarymodificationstothepowersupplyofthefacility.

Real time monitoringThe HOISTRACKER® Bluetooth® communication allows the operator to display themost important values of the TIRAK® performance and alarms status by using amobile device screen with Bluetooth®. This functionality does not require GSM datatransmission and it is displayed in real time .

SAFETY PRECAUTIONSIn this manual, the warning and caution symbols are used to highlight dangerousaccidents and troubles for users to read so that accidents can be prevented. Themeanings of these symbols are as follows:

Please read through the following safety tips and precautions to ensure hazard-freeuse of the Hoistracker.

If the users ignore this symbol and handle the device the wrongway, serious injury or death could result.

Power requirements

Handling

AC adapter operation.

Take notice that the power adapter for the Hoistracker functions at a 220voltage.

Battery operation.

The battery of the Hoistracker is recharged while the Tirak is inoperation. The battery takes up to 3 hours to recharge from 0% to100%.

If you are considering to store the Hoistracker for a long time, chargeto around 40% and store. If possible, recharge through the poweradapter before sending to a worksite.

If the Hoistracker is open it is important to use an antistatic bracelet at all times,particularly if its turned on.

Alterations

You should never open the case of the Hoistracker or attempt to modify the product in anyway since this can result in damage to the unit.

Warning

The Hoistracker sends information using Wifi, Bluetooth and GSM wireless signals. Thesecommunications depend on the strenght of the different signals. In some places whichpresent a strong interference the delivery of data in real time could be delayed until thedevice has access again to a strong signal.

Is important that any cleaning of the device, in particular the PCB, is done by an experiencetechnician. In any cleaning it’s important to use antistatic bracelet, antistatic brush, specialcleaning solution for electronic PCBs and compressed air.

Connecting cables and input and output jacks

You should always turn off the power to the Hoistracker and all other equipment beforeconnecting or disconnecting any cables. Make sure to disconnect all connection cables andthe power cord before moving the Hoistracker.Caution

Read before installation

Follow carefully the next indications. If you have any questions, please refer to your Tractelrepresentative for further clarifications.

Please notice that the Hoistracker is a high tech device that uses last generation componentsthat need to be treated carefully.

Whenever working with the PCB of the Hoistracker exposed, please use an antistatic bracelet toavoid any accidental damage to any of these components.

Also, be aware that a GPS antenna is attached to one of the sides of the case and that touchingit could cause damage to yourself and to the antenna.

Please consider that the Plug N’ Play connection only fits in one position. If you feel that youneed to use force to insert it, then stop and look for the correct position, as it not needed to doit by force.

Control box aluminum casedoes not close tight.

Verify that pins from the connectorsare not damaged and that they arecorrectly connected.

Hoistracker does not detectwhen TIRAK is going up.

Verify K3 (1, 3, 5) connection;verify that the ATX connector isconnected correctly in the controlbox; verify that the ATX connectorsare not damaged; check ATXconnection.

Verify K1 (A1) connection; verifythat the ATX connector is connectedcorrectly in the control box; verifythat the ATX connectors are notdamaged; check ATX connection.

Follow the indications at the Loginpage. If problem persists, report toyour Tractel representative.

How do I know when was thelast time the information of theTirak was updated.

I can not edit information of aTirak

I do not see new informationof the Tirak.

Do you have the administratorcredentials to make adjustments in thesystem? Contact your organizationdesignated Project Manager.

Press the Update button on the leftof the dashboard to refresh theactivity of the desired Tirak.

On your dashboard go to the Activitybutton on the left to see the lastevents. Contact your administrator forfurther information.
