Holy Mary Institute of Technology& Science is the brain child of the clairvoyant Sri. Arimanda Vara Prasad Reddy. It is one of the best engineering colleges for aspiring engineering students. HITS is spreaded over with green campus of 100 Acres with a single minded aim to provide a perfect platform to students in the field of engineering, Technology for their academic and overall personality development.
The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to JNT University, Hyderabad. HITS is offering UG & PG courses in CIVIL, ECE, EEE, CSE and MECH.

· To educate graduates in the basic principles underlying the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering and train our students to think independently in terms to master systematic approach to problem solving and to have a keen awareness of the role of engineering in the modern society.
To prepare the students for entry into successful employment as Electronics & Communication engineers in service, consulting, and/or government organizations or for advanced study at leading graduate schools in engineering, business, management, or other technical or non-technical fields.
To inculcate teamwork skills among the students to design and implement complex Electronics & Communication systems, particularly the ability to work with people from other fields in integrated engineering teams and develop the leadership skills for maximizing the performance of those teams.

Independence was celebrated On 15th Aug 2015with great enthusiasm and respect at HITS campus. The ceremony started at 8.30 AM in the college open ground with large crowd of staff, students and parents.
The Principal welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest.
To Commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, the Chief Guest unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom.
The Programme concluded up with the Vote of thanks by one our senior faculty. At the end sweets were distributed to the staff & students. As a token of love.
On 17th August, 2015, Wada College of Management &Science, Harosale, Wada, successfully completed the event of Tree Plantation under the National Service Scheme at college campus. Trees are the foremost source for producing the oxygen in environment, they helps to reduce the level of CO2 . As we all know that the whole world is facing the problem of global warming and to recover from such problem planting the trees is become one of the important day.
After the inspirational words of guests and Principal we all move towards the place where tree plantation took place. Total tree planted by all others including teachers, volunteers and guest was more than 15 on the day.
All were happy and experience proud after the tree plantation event was finished, because it really feels great to do positive for the nature.

Mr. SYAM KUMAR and Mr JITENDER RAI from Handicraft training centre Jaipur, Hasanpura came to address a Social activity program to all the years of ECE students to help the orphans of Rajasthani people by selling a books named "New Experienced Art" and by this way they can help the Orphans at Rajastan .

Guest Lecture on Real time Applications of Electrical Engineering” By Y.Tirupathi Reddy on 1-10-2015.
The blood donation camp was organized , 22nd August 2015. , at HOLY MARY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & SCIENCE, It began at around 10 am and continued up to 3 pm, with a steady stream of donors throughout. The campus of the college was abuzz with young chatting with each other, happy to be able to play their part in lending a helping hand to people in the region.
The LIONS CLUB of Hyderabad, Jeevan blood donation camp organized the event. HITS college Principal Dr.N.Subash Chandra garu, HIT college Principal Prof.K.V.Murali Mohan garu and Pharmacy Principal Prof. Narasimha Rao and other dignitaries started the Program and shared their views about Blood donation.
Around 229 students came forward and donated blood. More than 200 units of blood collected would go to the Lion club.. This blood donation camp was organised under the Hyderabad Jeevan ,the Social Welfare Lions Club . Prior to the camp, students and staff members were apprised of the benefits related to blood donation by the Volunteers of Lions club which serves the society in a variety of forms.
Under the "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" The team visited
every corners of the college campus including various rooms,
terrace, toilet, stairs, grounds, store, basement, water tank and
the surrounding area of buildings. The inspection nearly took 4
hours to visit all the corners of the buildings.

Workshop Medleys…another option basic technique for constructing curves (Crazy about Curves) improvisation, manipulations and dimension, putting openings into quilts and color essentials, was conducted on 5-08-2015 for II, III, and IV year's students of CSE
The resource person Dr. Prathap, founder and managing director of NeoApp technologies pvt.ltd, Hyderabad. Having 20 years of industry experience in software development. He handled both development and maintenance projects and achieved best customer satisfaction raing(CSAT)4.6/5 ,won the most prestigious trailblazer award(best project in the BU) successfully completed under the co-ordination of Mr B. Devender HOD of CSE department.
At the end of this phase every student gets good experience related to the project domain knowledge .each student is able to prepare neoapp system study document as per neoapp quality process standards and understand the importance of knowledge transition (KIT) phase. Software development consists of requirement analysis, high level design, low level design, coding and unit testing.
At the end of the phase each of the student is able to get expertise on the usage of visual paradigm , a low level design tool and also every student prepares design document as per neoapp quality process standards.

Department of Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2004. It has intake capacity of 120 students. All the
laboratories are well established with state of the art equipment. The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty and
technical staff. An innovative teaching and learning process is implemented in imparting quality education to the students which includes
conduct of workshops, seminars, industrial tours, expert lectures and various extracurricular activities.
