Here’s how you can start today!
1. Log onto the free website LiveAbove.com 2. Watch the powerful videos & learn what
to expect in the fall and how to prepare. 3. Search for the college ministries and
churches on your campus. 4. Send an email to all of them through the
system asking for info and how to meet students. You can also call the numbers shown for those ministries. Then they will respond via email.
5. Take control of your life! Be proactive. Even if some don’t respond, Google their websites and join their Facebook pages. Have a plan on how to connect with believ-ers in advance & especially the first 72 hours. Invite your dorm friends to your fel-lowship—they will thank you forever!
Select a college with some great campus ministries so you will thrive there. Your college years set you up for the rest of your life, and if done well, with God’s help will be one of the greatest blessings you’ll ever en-counter. Plan well! In college you’ll meet lifetime friends, study partners, and often your future spouse.
We also recommend that your watch the SUCCEED DVD with eight 30-minute sessions on everything you need to do to prepare for college. You can get this via YTN.org, Christian Bookstore, or your pastor. You should also Google each campus ministry site .
