    Introduction of Renaissance Style Architecture Renaissance architecture is the architecture of the period between the early 15th and early17th centuries in different regions of Europe, demonstrating a conscious revival anddevelopment of certain elements of ancient Greek and Roman thought and material

    culture. It developed first in Florence, it quickly spread to other Italian cities. The stylewas carried to France, Germany, England, Russia and other parts of Europe at differentdates and with varying degrees of impact.

    Introduction of Gothic Style Architecture

    Gothic architecture is a style of architecture that flourished during the high and latemedieval period. It was succeeded by Renaissance architecture beging in Florence in the15th century.

    It is in the great churches and cathedrals and in a number of civic buildings that theGothic style was expressed most powerfully, its characteristics lending themselves toappeal to the emotions.

    A series of Gothic revivals began in mid-18th century England, spread through 19th-century Europe and continued, largely for ecclesiastical and university structures, into the20th century.

    Example of Gothic Style in Hong KongCathedral Of The Immaculate Conception Shape of the church is like a Greek cross, but its right is shorter than on the left, its full-length is 28 meters, 40 meters wide and 23.7 meters high; supported by 38 granite pillarswith a central spire high 10 meters. Walls and pillars each placed nearly twenty saintstatues. Stained glass windows the portraits and deeds of the saints.
