Inheriting Our Double Portion
“Instead of shame and dishonor, you will
inherit a double portion of prosperity and
everlasting joy.” (Isaiah 61:7, NLT)
It is a joy to serve as the editor of our First Anniversary Magazine!
It is a joy because first anniversaries usually provide a strong
confirmation that a work of God like HIS Sanctuary was established
with His blessing. God birthed it; He’s sustaining it; He’s blessing
it; and He’s growing the work entrusted to us from glory to glory!
What a wonderful name for a house of God – HIS Sanctuary! A
sanctuary being a place where God dwells, where His people can
praise Him who deserves their highest praise and where they can be
empowered and equipped :
"You are awesome, O God, in your sanctuary;
the God of Israel gives power and strength
to his people". (Ps. 68:35, NIV)
It is also a joy because first anniversaries are usually filled with great expectations
and plans for the year to come. More certain that HIS Sanctuary lives and
thrives according to God’s will. More certain that our God is our portion (Psalm
73:26; Psalm 119:57, NIV), we can now confidently claim Him as our double
portion! Looking back on our first year, we have seen how His long arms and
mighty hands have anointed and favored us through every situation inside and
outside His Sanctuary!
Lastly, first anniversaries are also a joy because we now have a platform in our
Christ Jesus for looking back at our first year, from which we can draw wisdom
for the future of HIS Sanctuary. We now find ourselves on a higher and more
spacious rock. We have a greater revelation of that Rock and His role for us in
His Kingdom. We are therefore in a better position to draw inspiration from the
words of the father of modern missions, William Carey, who said, “Expect great
things from God; attempt great things for God.” In this Year of Double Portion,
let us all with one heartand mind expect greater things from God, and attempt
greater things for Him!

Anniversary Message
A container without content is nothing but useless. Of course! The purpose is defeated when nothing is in-side the container because it was created as a vessel.
In God’s economy, every child of God is entitled to have the double portion. It is not accidental but according to the plan of God even before we were born. I am fully convinced with all my heart that our Father wants us to be filled and over-flowing as a vessel for honor.
The Double Portion is very available for you. God wants to ac-celerate your life today and to bless you beyond measure. He wants to turn your life around and bring you to another level, “further and faster” more than you can imagine.
If you will step in faith and decide to receive the Double Por-tion from God, you will be radically changed for the better. The whole earth is going to witness the glory of God in your life. You will be the reflection of God’s power and God’s beau-ty when you enter into the realm of double portion.
It is high time for you to receive your double portion and be ready to move to the next level. Open your heart and allow the mighty hand of God to operate in every aspect of your life. I declare and I prophesy that this year is your turning point.
Isaiah 61:7 says,
“…..you shall receive your double portion.”

Greetings from our Lord Jesus Christ, and to all the believers of HIS Sanc-tuary Hong Kong! May the blessing of our Lord be with you all! May our Lord’s double- portion prosperity, healing, anointing and holiness rest upon you during the First Anniversary of HIS Sanctuary. Let us therefore contin-ue to faithfully serve our Lord who gives the victor’s crown to His children who endure with Him. May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

It was my first time to listen to the man of God last Thursday though I
met him a few years ago. If you see him for the first time, he look too
tall and heavy set to be approachable. In fact, if you’re like me, you’d
think twice before talking to him or asking him to pray for you. And I
did think twice because the first and second time I met him, he struck me
as intimidating.
But when I heard him speak on Feb. 10 and 12, 2011, Thursday and
Friday at Breakthrough Centre about “Sowing and Reaping,” all my fear
and negative impressions of him were swept aside. He introduced
himself as 3M or “very, very, very rich” or “mayaman na mayaman na
mayaman” according to 3 John 2 which expresses John the Elder’s
threefold blessing to all of God’s saints for the physical body, soul and
finances. Then he quipped, “Ayaw ko namang sabihin na 4M, kasi baka
sabihin ninyo Mayabang na ako!” That made us slap our laps and laugh
from our bellies! He made us laugh out loud when he called himself
AUTOMATIC because he said, “He has an AUTO and that he is
MAATIC (or somebody who has lots of money).” In fact, he said that
he doesn’t use a wallet because he receives bundles of cash that his
wallet would only bulge and be ruined if he used one. Whooa! I said to
myself. That’s very, very funny! This man of God shares the principles
of true prosperity received by the biblical principle of sowing and
reaping in a way that fills our hearts with revelation, joy and laughter!
Hallelujah!
Then I heard him speak again on Friday Feb. 11 on “Finding Favor with God.” Using Luke 1:26-32, as sons and
daughters of God, having the Spirit of Sonship in Christ. We are highly favored of God. The Lord is with us with
Jesus as our salvation, healing and prosperity. Where Jesus is our Immanuel or God with us. The Lord is our
Shalom or our peace, prosperity, welfare, protection, protection, tranquility and quietness.
He added that when we have Favor, three things happen. God gives us:
PROTECTION
NOAH: The most protected place is where God tells us to go. Evangelist Wilbert said, “Gusto mo
manalo? Magpatalo ka. Ang pikon ay talo.” He said that in light of relating in humility and love in our family and
other relationships. (Acts 16:31)
PROSPERITY
MOSES: Just like in the Passover, the Angel of Death spared the lives of the firstborn
in Egypt where the post and lintels of the doors where the blood of lambs sacrificed was applied.
In the same way, blood of Jesus will let your diseases (and poverty) pass. This also speaks of
divine protection to us who are ambassadors of Jesus Christ.
PROMOTION
JOSEPH: In Genesis 39:2-4, he was promoted by God from pit to prison to palace by
the grace of God. Grace being God’s unmerited favor, undeserved favor or unearned favor. As
CIA of Christ in Action, by God’s grace, He will help us to find our place in the body of Christ.
Evangelist Wilbert affirms God will promote His children from success to significance. He said
that we are me already have success “dahil may Hesus ka sa puso mo.” Now that we have
success, we can now believe enough to declare that our God will promote us when our time
comes.
Let me close this article on this man of God who testified that his sowing financially in the lives
and ministries of other men and women in ministry has borne exponential fruitful. That biblical

This is a great year for each Sanctuarian to start it with God's
presence. It is very important to seek the real treasure by searching and soaking in HIS presence. “We can't live without His presence.”
It says in Matthew 6:33,
“SEEK Ye First the Kingdom of GOD and His righteousness and all these things shall be add unto you.”
First it says that we must seek God's presence in our lives by meditating on his word; lifting our hands to worship; desiring His outpouring and giving our best to the King.
Secondly, we must seek his righteousness, accepting by our nothingness, humbling our hearts, asking for God's guidance and walking in God's discipline. Thirdly, “all things shall be added unto you.” This means that if we do our part, He will definitely to do HIS PART.
We JUST DO IT!! He says ALL (not some) these things shall be added unto you. He will give perfect health, overflowing wealth, supernatural protection, great peace, overwhelming joy and uncontainable satisfaction.
I firmly believe that as we stay in God's Presence,
WE GOT IT ALL!!! NEVER LET HIM GO!!!

FOCUS should be high up in the list of most pre-ferred forwarders by Filipinos and Indonesians. The owner is Wilson Chua and his lovely wife’s name is Polly. They are ardent supporters of the Lord’s min-istries through HIS Sanctuary. Wilson first fell in love with the Lord Jesus when he received the miracu-lous healing of his leg from God. Since then, he has hosted a regularly worship service in his company premises, first in Sheung Wan and just recently, the service has been moved to Wan Chai. One definitely has to be in the service to experience God’s wonder-ful Presence and the blessed camaraderie between the owner and his employees. This is why I make it a point to come before the service starts at 8 pm. I want to have the blessed opportunity of fellow-shipping and of encouraging and being encouraged. Then at 8, my delight continues when we worship together in Spirit and in Truth through our Lord’s very real community Presence in FOCUS.

We must thank God everyday and every moment of our life. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Glory to the King.
In 2004, the Bible College was founded and has graduated students each year since then. This year we graduate yet another batch of dedicated students after one year of serious drilling in the Word of God and church administration. We have continued to have our “Double Portion” which is evident in our 2011 student number.
HIs Sanctuary Bible College offers an online bible course leading to qualifications in the study of the Word with degrees (Bachelors, Masters & Doctorate) in Bible Studies and church administration.
The course is open to all christians who are willing to devote their time and interest in studying the word of God, Church administration and organisation.

2011 G R A D UAT E S
From God's unmeasurable riches and
abundance, His Sanctuary HK has received
tremendous overflow this year. This list is long, and
achievements so very unique yet the Lord is still
blessing. With more than a hundred Christians
baptised during the year, the launching of our sisters'
CD "The Vocal Power", then the expansion to over
30 Cell groups and 5 more Ministries, the Candle
lighting Eve, a handful of weddings, and above all
the Chater Road and Vision +1000 Souls Evangelism:
We still seem to be warming up.
And equipped we are, too. our leaders have flown into
Hong Kong great Christian movers and we have been
priviledge to attend in-house training programs
conducted by these preachers, teachers, leaders,
attorneys, evangelist, businessmen, educators, etc,
arranged by our Sr Pastor and leaders. The aim has
been to prepare us for the next level. Starting with the
Church Growth Conference, then the Financial
Breakthrough Conference, Overcoming, Double
Portion, self-Empowerment Courses and more.
Our blessings have been overflowing with the Each
One Bring One Program that has seen many return
home with IPADs and various modern hi-tech
equipments, books and even scholarships for our
families back home. We have been given only one
option: to bear fruits and much more fruits.
For those of us who were priviledged to attend these
events, our lives have never been the same again. We
have been made more than conquerors, and by faith
and obedience, we have our share of the double
portion.
While we thank our leaders for their thoughtfulness in
ascertaining both our spiritual, mental, financial and
social well-being, we have a special task to let all
what we have learnt to radiate and change others'
lives. We can all start by "Each One Bringing One" to
all our activities...God's blessings are free for all. And
as we have been blessed, we should be a blessing to
others.

God has planned for us to have His
Double Portion anointing and Divine
Sufficiency! “and God is able to make
grace abound to you so that in all things
at all times, having all that you need, you
will abound in every good work. As it is
written: He has scattered abroad His gifts
to the poor, His righteaousness endure
forever”. (2 Corith. 9:8-9).
All sufficiency in all things abounding in
every good works!! This is the picture of
Double Portion anointing that God
desires to release in the life of His
people. You must receive the Word of the
Lord in your spirit, believe it, and act
upon it in faith.
God promises that we will possess
double for all of the shame and confusion
of the past, and we will have everlasting
joy. “Instead of tHis shame my people will receive a Double
Portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance
so they will inherit the double portion in their land, and everlasting
joy will be theirs”.(Is. 61:1-7)
Believe in the Word. God's double portion anointing was released
into the life of a widow. She was in debt, and the creditor had come
to take her sons as slave to pay the debt. But whe she acted upon the
Word that the Lord had spoken through Elisha, God did not just
release enough for the widow to barely pay her debt, but He gave
Double Portion. God took what she had (the little bottle of oil) and
multiplied it so that she had enough to pay her debt, and she and her
sons were able to live on what was left (2 Kings 4).
Also Double Portion anointing was manifested when Peter acted in
faith, on Jesus' Word and received the miraculous catch of fish. It
was above and beyond -super abundance, double portion! It is said
that as soon as they cast down their nets following the Word of
Jesus, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large
number of fish (Jn 21:3-6)
Friends, brothers and sisters, we serve a God of super abundance,
Throughout His Word, He reveals Himself as being a God who not
only provides for His people but gives them a Double Portion that
is much, much more than what is needed.

ALL SUFFICIENCY IN ALL THINGS
I saw him first at our leaders’ weekly meeting with Ptr Bong Hermosa. Pastor Bob Robles told me that he pastors a church in Olongapo with hundreds in attendance. Since I arrived late, he added that Ptr. Garry would be preaching in almost all of the ser-vices from Wednesday to Sunday. This got my at-tention! I thought that he must be a great preacher. I determined to find out more about this aspect of this man of God.
As I ate dinner with Ptr. Garry, he showed me pho-tos and slides of the Discipleship Course that he has been conducting for representatives of various churches who desire to become church planters. Then when I asked him a series of questions about his message for tomorrow, he went to another file and showed me folders with resources about vari-ous topics from End Times to Evangelism. This is his Abundant Resources Center for his message preparation! It definitely is a good model and chal-lenge for God’s teachers and preachers to aim for!
Finally, on May 1st, Convergence Day, the first day of our nearly month-long anniversary celebration, Rev. Dr. Garry preached a concise yet powerful message entitled “Be a Good BOY,” using Joshua 1:1-9 as his sermon text. Creatively, he used the acronym BOY for three points:
B-elieve God’s promises (verses 3-5).
If we believe, we’ll receive God’s power, miracles, healings, prosperity, promotion and presence.
O-bey God’s commands (verses 7-8).
“Kapag may misyon, may probisyon. Kung may kunsumisyon, walang misyon.” OR “Mission has its provision. If there’s heavi-ness of spirit or a prevailing constant strug-gle where there’s no peace present at all, then there’s no mission.” It is essential to medi-tate on the words of God (Joshua 1:8; Num-bers 40:28), in order to receive His blessing.
Y-ield to God’s will (verse 9).
Be willing to submit to God’s will, not your own will.
Have a willingness to go where God wants you to go and receive His peace. Be sure to give priority to God. Jesus must be first in everything. If you honor God, He’ll honor you.
HIS Sanctuary definitely received God’s manna from this church planter, discipler and messenger of God.

Sitting upright in this snuggly bed

I close my eyes and the voice gets clear
Like a lovely sound to my ears
I feel His warm and sweet embrace
My comfort in times of craze
Though now I know I can't see your face

Great Courses to Find Your Place in the Marketplace
There are great personal improvement courses that
will help you to seek our Lord’s greener pastures for
you, or better yet, these courses will help you to be
more of His salt and light that God needs to transform
the marketplace which is the heart of our society:
1. TESOL or Teaching English to
Speakers of Other Languages Course
A comprehensive seven-month Hong Kong cer-
tificate course that will equip you to embark on a
career on teaching English to foreign learners, to
venture in day-care center or pre-school entre-
preneurship or to launch into a call center career.
2. Call Center Agent Course
Thousands are needed, but only a few qualify to be
hired. The salaries and benefits these call centers give
are very attractive, but many don’t make it past the
screening stage. This course will provide you with the
communications skills, the essential computer know-
how and the sales ability for you to pass the screening.
