2. Introduction

What is a Learning Manager?

A Learning Manager is someone who can check

the course history, progress and status of the

learners he/she is handling.

What is a Learner?

Studies the contents and can keep track of

his/her own learning progress.

※Referred to as “User” below.

What is Contents?

Refers to the learning courses/materials which

the users can take in.

① Course…Refers to the levelled courses taken such as HS-4,

HS-3, etc.

② Chapter…Refers to the items included in the course.

(HS-4 Course⇒46 Chapters、 HS-3 Course⇒40 Chapters)

※The pages displayed in this User`s manual is still

in development. There may be any some

How to login

This will explain how to login to the Learning

System.

① The Learner's Guidance Page can be opened by accessing the

following URL. http://asp-learning.com/hn_english/

② Login page can be accessed by clicking the《Start Learning

System》button.

③ After entering the Username and the Password, click 《Sign-

in》.

A function that can check the learning progress

status of the users.

1. User : Displays the lesson progress by user.

2. Activities : Displays the lesson progress by course.

3. User Search : Performs user search.

4. User List : Displays the managed users.

5. Learning Activities : Can check the overall progress.

6. Last Updated : Displays the last time where the list was updated.

※Data update is done once a day at 8:00 AM

7. Displayed List : Switches the displayed list.

8. Print/Export : Outputs the data into MS-Excel/CSV or print the

date in the page.

Display

This will explain regarding the method on

switching display

The direct report is shown after the exception report is displayed. Display switch can be done by

selecting the desired display on the pull-down

button.

① Direct Reports

The users and their learning progress displayed in the《Direct

Reports》are only the users registered to the manager.

② All Viewable Users

The users and their learning progress displayed in《All Viewable

Users》are all the registered users in the

distributorship(including managers).

When a manager selects《All Viewable Users》, all the users in

the distributorship will be shown.

③ Manager Registration

Only one (1) manager can be registered to one (1) user.

※Unless otherwise specified, the base administrator is basically

registered as a manager.

② Completion Notice Mail Structure

This will explain regarding the mail sent during course

completion.

Ex)Mr. Hino Ichiro passed the HS-4 course

When a user finished a course, a completion notification is sent

to the following recipient below:

・Registered e-mail address of the user

・Registered manager of the user

※You can register up to five (5) e-mail addresses that can be

registered in each user.

selected《DETAILED EXCEPTION REPORT BY USER》page.

1. Search : You can search for chapters by entering a text.

2. Filter By : Switches the displayed items.

※ The default display is《Assignment Status、

Complete》

3. Activity Name : Displays the name of the chapters.

If the lesson is finished, it will moved to

《Assignment Status⇒Filter By⇒Complete》

4. Assignment Type : Displays the assignment type of the section.

※All are marked with《Required》.

5. Date Due : Displays the due date for the chapters.

6. Progress : Displays the learning progress of the chapter.

※Ongoing, unfinished lessons is considered 0%.

7. Overall Progress : Displays the percentage of finished chapters of

the registered chapters.

8. Print/Export : Print the page or export to MS-Excel/CSV.

1. Chapter Name : Displays the registered chapters.

2. Progress : Displays the ratio of users who are ongoing and

those who are finished.

3. Incomplete User : Displays the users who are still unfinished on a

selected chapters.

② Displays list of users who are still on-going on the selected

chapter.

1. Chapter Name : Displays the name of the selected chapters.

2. Name/Username : Displays unfinished users.

※Display order can be changed by clicking (▲)

3. Assignment Type/

Assignment Date

: Basically, they are all required. The date when it

was registered to the system is displayed.

4. Date Due : Displays the due date of the lesson by user.

5. Progress : Displays the learning progress of the chapter.

※Ongoing, unfinished lessons is considered 0%.

6. Overall Progress : Displays the percentage of users attending the

selected chapter.

7. Refresh : Click to update the information manually.

※Automatic update is done every 8:00 AM

8. Print/Export : Screenshot and exporting to MS-Excel/CSV.

01. Learning status : Detailed history display for users and chapters one by one.

02. Matrix chart on learner's learning status (by user ID)

: Displays the leaning progress status for users through a matrix graph.

03. Learning progress confirmation report

: Displays the status of the chapter for each organization.

04. Learning result confirmation report

: Learning situation by organization and user.

2. Folder tree : Cannot be used aside from Domestic Dealer-use report.

Advanced Reporting Operation

Click the name of the selected report or click《Run》.

※When returning to detailed report display, click《View》⇒

《Repository》.

1. Refresh button : Click to update the information manually. ※Automatic update is done every 8:00 AM

2. Back : Return to Advanced Reporting Display

3. Save : Cannot be used.

4. Export : Exports the displayed contents data

Can be exported as Excel, PDF etc.

5. Option : Sets filter on the displayed report.

6. Zoom in, Zoom out : Enlarge and reduce the screen.

7. Search : Searches text within the displayed report.

The searched texts are highlighted.

③ Input controls by option

Through Input Control, the filter can be set in the displayed

contents.

・Active(User)(Yes/No):

You can choose to include the users who are not currently

using it in the display.

Initial setting is displayed only for users in use.

Select “Yes” and “No” to display all users who have

acquired an ID.

・Registration Status:

There are three (3) items that are selected as default.

1. Complete : Displays users who have completed learning the chapter.

2. In Progress : Displays users who are in the middle of learning.

3. Registered : Displays users who did not yet taking the learning.

4. Cancelled、Waived : Cannot be used.

Ex.)

When selecting only complete users, unselect In Progress and

Registered.

In the initial setting, no filter is applied.

All the courses taken by all users will be displayed.

Ex.)

Type “HS-4” to display only the course for HS-4.

When the settings are complete click《Apply》to display the set

contents, then click《OK》.

Advanced Reporting Display Content

① 01. Learning status(Line display)

1. User Number : Displays the user login ID.

2. Full Name : Displays the name of the user.

3. User Primary Domain : Display the distributor's name. ※ The number is the system control number.

4. Activity Name : Displays the chapter's name of the registered course.

5. Registration Status Displays the user's progress status. ・Complete ・Registered ・In Progress

6. Score : Displays the score after completing the

confirmation exam of each chapter.

※Some chapters have no tests.

7. Attempt Start Date : Displays the start date of the lesson

8. Attempt End Date : Displays the end date of the lesson.

② 02. Matrix chart on learner's learning status (by user ID)

This is the most suitable report for managers to keep track on

the learners' progress.

1. Full Name : Displays the name of the user.

2. User Number : Displays the user login ID.

3. Measures ・Attempt start date:Displays the start date of the lesson

・Attempt end date:Displays the end date of the lesson. ・ Score: Displays the score after completing the

confirmation exam of each chapter.

③ 03. Learning progress confirmation report

A report that allows you to check the course, due date, and

learning status of each learner in a list.

A display report that can easily managed the learner's learning

status and you can check also the due date of a learner

1. User primary Domain : Displays the distributor's name.

2. User Number : Displays the user login ID.

3. Full Name 3 : Displays the name of the user.

4. Activity Primary Domain : Displays the course of a selected user.

5. Due Date : Displays the due date of a selected user.

6. Requirement Status : Displays the user's progress status.

・In Progress:Unlearned、On-going

・Satisfied:Complete

・Assigned:On-going(End condition not

reached)

7. Progress rate(%) : Displays progress percentage (%) with regards to

the progress status.

④ 04. Learning result confirmation report

A report that allows you to check in details the learning

progress of the learner.

Since you can check the test score and the number of times

they have taken the test, you can also check the chapters that

the students are not good at.

1. User primary Domain : Displays the distributor's name.

2. User Number : Displays the user login ID.

3. Full Name/Surname : Displays the name of the user.

(Yes/No)

: Displays the login availability status.

(Within:Yes Expired:No)

5. Measures : Displays the name of the selected course.

Attempt start date

(Maximum)

: Displays the start date of the lesson

Attempt end date

(Maximum)

: Displays the end date of the lesson.

Score (Maximum) : Displays the score from the confirmation test and

completion test.

※Chapters that don't have test will leave as blank.

Maximum Attempts : Displays the number of times it took to pass the test.

⑤ Shortcut of displayed items

For the following report explained on the previous page, there

is a shortcut function to display the learning course of all the

learners.

・03. Learning progress confirmation report

・04. Learning result confirmation report

The shortcut menu is expanded by clicking ▶ on the left of the

report item, and only the students of the course corresponding

to the menu are displayed.

※It won't switch the screen when you select the course that

you have not yet taken.

⑥ Change the display contents

After displaying the report, if you want to change the display

contents further, click the “Options” icon on the upper left of

the screen and “Input Control” will be displayed.

Shortcuts can also be used from this input control screen.

The following are the display items of the input control.

Full Name 3 : You can search by entering the student name

(last name is also acceptable).

Learning Course : You can add or delete learning course.

※ It can be used like adding a displayed course in the

shortcut.

User Security Role : Only learners are displayed.

If you want to display the administrator as well, select

HN_TRAINING_ADMIN (HINO_GROUP) additionally.

Click “OK” when you add or delete item in the input control.

7. Environment Setting

Language, time zone setting

It will explain on how to set the displayed

language and time zones.

① Click《Self》in the upper-left of the screen, then click 《Profile

Details》.

Clicking《Preferences》tab will change the displayed page. Select

the language and time zone using the pull down box located in the

page.

② After selecting, click《Save》, log out once, and then log in

again.

※ No changes will take an effect if you will not logged out.

Change password

This will explain about how to change the

password.

① Click《Self》in the upper-right of the screen, then click

《Change Password》.

② Type the current password. Please refer on the required

password format when changing a new password.

③ Click《Change Password》to finish.

① Click《Self》in the upper-right of the screen, then click

《Change Security Question》.

It will switch to Personal Security Question.

Please choose at least 2 questions and their respective answers,

then click《Save》.
