This event is a fundraising weekend benefiting the Helping Hands Foundation. The foundation was started in 2006 by Hines Ward. Hines has personally contributed more than $1 million to his foundation.
Overview:
During the event Hines will give his vision for the Foundation. 10 - 15 NFL buddies of Hines will join him for this 2 - day event.

The Hines Ward Charity Weekend will benefit the
Helping Hands Foundation. The foundation is in partnership
with the Pittsburgh Foundation which is a 501(c)3 non
profit organization.
The Mission of the Helping Hands Foundation is to
assist the under-served children in the Georgia area with
educational opportunities. In South Korea the foundation
helps biracial children who are often discriminated against
within the Korean culture.

Hines Ward iTpod
iTpod is a trailer equipped with laptop
computers and printer. The iTpod is staffed
with a full-time teacher. No fee is charged for
children to access the trailer. The iTpod trailer
travels to areas where children are under-
served.
