2. EXCAVATION IN EARTH<=3MEarth work in excavation in all kind of soil including soft rock but excluding hard rock up to a depth of 3 m from the existing ground level. The job includes shoring, shuttering, bailing out rain water / sub soil water manually or by using appropriate capacity dewatering pump., ramming the bottom, dressing the sides and bottoms and stacking the excavated earth not less than 1 m from the edge of excavation and then backfilling, spreading, watering and compaction, disposal of surplus earth within / outside HPCL's premises to any unobjectionable place all complete as per direction of Engg.-In-Charge. Any sheet piling required to prevent excessive water seepage to tank area /foundation area will be paid separately as per approval of Engg.-In-Charge Up to 3 m depth

3. SAND FILLING - LAYERS<150MMSupply and filling with clean silver / river sand of approved quality in layers of 150 mm each including spreading, compacting by hand ramming and watering etc, all complete as per direction of Engg.-In-Charge. Measurement basis compacted thickness only.

4. MURRUM FILL.- LAYERS<150MMSupplying and filling imported murrum of approved quality in layers not exceeding compacted thickness of 150 mm inclusive spreading, Watering, ramming, compacting, and if required, rolling and re-rolling with power roller / manual roller / mechanical compactors to achieve maximum compaction, all complete as per direction of Engg.-In-Charge. The murrum should be excavated from a quarry / mines, free from weeds, grass and other objectionable debris. Measurement basis compacted thickness only.Note: For all cutting/excavation/subbase and filling jobs, it will be the responsibility and duty of the contractor to take joint initial levels with Engg.-In-Charge in all cases before commencing the work. The joint levels should be certified by the contractor as well as HPCL Engg.-In-Charge. The payments will be made basis the initial levels and final levels taken jointly and certified. The payment for all cutting / excavation will be made at the lower rate applicable for 0 to 3 m and the higher rate will be paid only for the portion beyond 3 m depth. If the contractor fails to take jointly certified levels, the levels as taken by HPCL Engg.-In-Charge shall be treated as final and all payments will be released basis the levels so taken by the HPCL Engg.-In-Charge.

5. PCC WORK-1:3:6PCC WORK: Providing and laying PCC using graded stone aggregate of specified size and down. The job includes machine mixing, providing formwork, MS/plywood(minimum 19 mm thick) shuttering if directed by Engg.-In-Charge, placing, compacting by hand ramming , curing for a period of 14 days etc, all complete as per direction of Engg.-In-Charge. Removing of shuttering to be done carefully without such shock and vibration as to damage the PCC work. For PCC 1:3:6 using 20 mm and down size graded stone aggregates. Vibrator to be used whenever directed by Engg.-in-Charge without any extra cost.

6. RCC1:1.5:3COL.SLB.TIE.CLV.. REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE: Providing, Mixing, laying and placing RCC 1:1.5:3 mix with ordinary Portland cement using 20 mm and down size graded crushed stone aggregate including providing and fixing necessary plywood (minimum 19 mm thick)/ steel shuttering, scaffolding, machine mixing, compacting by mechanical vibrators (needle / skid etc), curing, hacking the surface to receive plaster using plastic / PVC sheet of thickness minimum 20micron under RCC, as directedwherever required. etc. all complete. Machine mixing to be done without exception. Rate shall be exclusive of the cost of steel reinforcement, Concrete shall conform to relevant specifications of IS 456:2000 Latest Edition. For footings/foundations / plinth beam / floor beam / retaining wall etc.Superplasticiser Rheobuild SP1 (Napthalene base) shall be dosed in mixing water after 50-70% of mixing water has been added in the mixer machine. The Dosage will be in the range of 0.6% to 0.8% by weight of cement (i.e. 300ml - 400ml per 50 kg. bag of cement) to get desired workability. Equivalent Napthalene based superplasticiser may be used in manufacturer's specified proportions/methods after prior approval of Engg.-in-Charge.

7. REINFORCEMENT STEEL IS:1786REINFORCEMENT STEEL Supply ,fabrication, hoisting and placing in position HYSD reinforcement bars conforming to IS1786 -Latest Edition Grade FE 415 /TMT bars of same grade as per detailed drawing and specifications including cutting, bending, cranking and tying with 18 SWG black annealed binding wire complete. The rates shall be applicable for all heights and depths. Payment shall be made as per reinforcement drawings and with theoretical weights only including all authorised laps, chairs, spacers and hooks.

8. BRICK MASONRY:SUBSTR.-NEWBRICK MASONRY WORKS Providing and constructing following brick masonry in CM 1:5 using locally available bricks of Class designation 75 (minimum) and conforming to IS 1077:1986 including providing all openings and projections, raking the joints to 1 cm deep, scaffolding, soaking of bricks in water prior to use and curing etc all complete as per specifications. SUB STRUCTURE Providing and laying brick masonry as above for foundation below DPC level.

9. BRICKMASONRY:SUPERST.-NEWSUPER STRUCTURES. Providing and laying brick Masonry as item no. 8 but for superstructure above DPC level including scaffolding.

10. FLAT BRICK SOLING:SINGLE Providing Brick soling 3.5" thick (including sand bedding), surface dressing, making required slope, soaking the bricks before laying, packing the gaps using sand and watering etc all complete.

11. PLASTER 12MM THICKProviding and laying average 12 mm thick sand faced cement plaster in ratio 1: 3 :1(cement; fine sand : coarse sand) in two coats. Rate to include use of water proofing compound as per manufacturer's recommendation. Rate shall include providing necessary scaffolding, chicken wire mesh at all joints of brick and concrete surfaces, with a minimum overlap of 150 mm in all directions and curing complete. No extra payment shall be made for additional thickness if required to achieve perfect line and level. The job includes cleaning, wetting of surface before plastering, curing etc all complete. Required grooves to be formed as directed.

12. MS GRTNG.& ISLAND COVER.FRMProviding, fabricating, welding and fixing structural steel in position with angle iron / flats / tees / squares / SHS tubes conforming to IS 4923 : 1997, plates etc as per design and direction given by Engg.-In-Charge for drain grating, manhole frames, gratings, tree guards, Island Covering Frame etc, as per requirement. Job includes all necessary grouting, supply and fixing of handles, nuts - bolts etc, painting the grating with 2 coats of approved synthetic enamel paint, over a coat of red oxide primer.

13. RCC HUME PIPE, NP3, 300 NBSupplying, laying, aligning and joining following size NP3 class RCC Hume pipes of approved make conforming to IS-458 Latest Edition, as per direction of Engg.-In-Charge. Rate to include excavation to required depth as per direction of Engg.-In-Charge (minimum earth cushion to be ensured) and providing 4" thick and (Outer Dia in mm+200mm) wide PCC 1:5:10 below the Hume pipe as bed, 4" thick fine sand cushion all around the Hume pipe, backfilling, compaction, curing and testing joints against leakage.Rate to include supplying and fixing of required collars and fixing the same by using cement mortar 1:3. All pipes must be new and perfectly sound, free from cracks, cylindrical, straight and of standard nominal diameter and length with even texture. 34. S/L DRIVEWAY PAVERS-80MMSupply and laying of 80mm thick grey / coloured pavers in line and level and approved pattern and shape, as per attached specifications. The job includes supplying and laying sand bedding, compacting using plate vibrator, all material and labour complete. Pavers will be laid at 45 degree to road line in 1 red and 2 grey arrangement. Plan of laying will be developed by the contractor and prior approval of Engg.-In-Charge will be taken before commencement of laying. The pavers supplied should qualify min comp. strength of 47.2MPa and should conform to IS:15658:2006. The party shall have to produce manufacturer's certification on the paver qualifying criteria stated in IS-15658 and limits specified in the attached specification before the pavers are sited. HPCL reserves the right to do random sampling and testing as per IS-15658:2006 to assess manufacturer's certification on qualifying norms specified in the attached specification. The testing charges, if samples qualify, shall be borne by HPCL, else shall be borne by the party.

Section. (01):

SCOPE:Prefabrication off-site strictly in line with design, detailed drawing as supplied by HPCL, supplying at site and erecting in position Prefabricated Canopies for Retail outlets. Canopies shall consist of Prefabricated steel structural framing for primary and secondary construction for roof and columns, Concealed fixed roofing system, interlocking type metal false ceiling system, Gutter and down take assembly complete with all the accessories and assemblies required to construct the canopies at retail outlets of HPCL. All structures shall be supplied in prefabricated condition for field assembly and no hot works shall be done at sites & if any hot work is carried out at site, it should with prior approval of EIC at contractors own risk & cost. Works have to be carried out at working retail outlets without causing any disruption of operations. All safety precautions are to be observed strictly.

Assembly and Erection of all the elements of the canopy described as below and providing the foundations for canopy columns are included in the scope of works.

The design of canopy including the RCC foundation shall be given by HPCL at the time of site handing over, and the canopy shall be fabricated strictly in line with the design as given by HPCL. The canopy shall be fabricated at a proper workshop/ factory premises having three phase power connection. The address of factory shall be submitted along with the un priced bid for inspection at discretion of HPCL and by HPCL authorized representatives.

After erection it will be the responsibility of the vendor to submit the stability certificate from an authorized licensed/chartered structural engineer.

Section (02):

CANOPY DESCRIPTIONUsage To provide top cover on driveway / filling bay at Retail Outlets.

Footing and Foundations

Party has to carry out the footing and foundation job in line with the design as provided by HPCL as per following requirement:

Footings and foundation shall be of RCC 1:1.5:3 mix including formwork (only Steel or plywood minimum 19 mm thick shall be used as shuttering), reinforcement etc. complete to support steel columns and the canopy. The works include excavation in soft soil / hard rock, PCC (1:3:6) - 75 mm thick, Reinforcement & anchor bolt – as per design, back filling, breaking of existing RCC or foundation. if any, encountered etc.,. The job includes machine mixing (without exception) and compaction by using mechanical vibrator & necessary curing for 14 days. Rate also to include carting away surplus earth & debris to unobjectionable place, which shall be identified well in advance by the party. The cement used shall be of Grade 43. Payment for this item will be made basis the actual quantities measured and certified by HPCL EIC. The RCC for canopy foundation shall have exposed RCC finish i.e. no plastering shall be done on finished surface of RCC except in case when written permission has been granted by Engg.-In-Charge, at no extra cost.

GENERAL NOTES1. All columns should be true to plumb and level & canopy should be checked for

rectangularity by dropping down plumb from corners and measuring the diagonals or through other methods.

2. The welding should be thoroughly cleaned of all splatter, slag, rust, dirt & other foreign material by using wire brush, sand paper, chipping etc. before painting.

3. The welding shall be in accordance with IS 816 latest edition using ISI marked electrodes (AWS A 5.1 / E6013) of approved make. All welding shall have a minimum thickness of 6 mm unless higher thickness as specified in the drawing. The welding shall be continuous and smooth, maintaining consistent proper thickness without any break or pinholes. The welding should be free from all defects.

4. One coat of primer application may be carried out at workshop & rest of painting jobs to be carried out at site.

5. All gauges & templates necessary for checking MS structure section thickness, plumb, level, ELCO Meter should be made available by the contractor.

6. The address & name of contact person along with contact number of the workshop should be informed in advance before fabrication. List of all the major equipment available at the workshop including welding machine and power source should be submitted for inspection / verification by EIC / authorised representatives of HPCL.

7. After erection of canopy & finishing of roofing/gutter job, arrangement shall be made to test for any leaks by spraying of water & blocking of down take pipes.

8. No gas cutting for making holes of any size will be allowed.

9. Cabling job should be carried out in neat & professional manner with PVC/ Plastic clipping arrangement to hold the cable. Same no of Tag block should fixed on  either end of cable for proper identification / traceability & as built drawing of single line diagram showing complete details should be submitted along with final bill.

10. No. of lights to be installed shall be as per design given by HPCL which shall be generally one no. 150 W for 10 square meter area or 250 W for 15 square meter area of canopy.

11. No extra payment will be made for over lapped roofing / false ceiling. Plan area of canopy excluding the banding area shall be considered for payment.

12. Weighment of all canopy MS structurals should be done at both ends at authorised Weigh Bridges, i.e. After loading at workshop and before unloading at Retail outlet. No other material should be loaded with the said consignment. HPCL may authorise any person to witness the weighment at its discretion. Party to note that this weighment is only for reference / verification and not for payment except in case where taken weight is less than the theoretical calculation.

13. Payment of MS structurals shall be made as per theoretical weight calculation basis design / drawings as supplied by HPCL.

14. No payment shall be made for nuts, bolts, washers and weight of welding which shall be deemed to be included in the rate of MS Structurals.

15. Party to ensure that all luminaire of same make shall be used in a canopy.

16. Two coats of primer (as specified in painting schedule) shall be applied on inner surfaces of channels /plates before fabrication.

Special Provisions:a) Electrical fittings: Installation of lighting, speakers etc. to be integrated in the ceilings and suspended from the Roof Structure by the contractor. Fittings shall be supplied by party only. Specification and make I model mentioned under item no Section 3.C.1 to be followed.

All the requisite arrangements for providing, additional fittings if required, shall be done by the party at no extra cost.

Speakers if supplied by HPCL should be installed, cabled & commissioned at no extra cost.

b) Supplying and carrying out wiring for canopy lighting using 3 Core x 2.5 sqmm armoured copper cable of make as approved by HPCL. Job also includes suitable circuit breakers and distribution board at designated place inside sales building all complete. The lighting scheme for the canopy lights shall be done is such a manner that switching on the alternate light fittings in a row is possible, if required during off-peak hours. The cable termination shall be done in

professional manner using copper lugs of appropriate size at both ends. Cable glands to be used for entry/exit point in panels. Care should be taken to ensure that there is no ingress of insects etc. in the light fittings by ensuring sealing etc. as required. Payment shall be made basis RMT of cable designed and provided for in the canopy.

c) As instructed by Engg.-in-Charge (EIC), cabling for Retail Visual Identity (RVI) fascia, column and ancillaries works as well as for density display at columns and other automation related displays, shall be done by the contractor as per approved plan. All entry holes in canopy structure shall be drilled and guarded with virgin PVC/neoprene gaskets/guards. Gas cutting of holes shall NOT be allowed.

d) Fixing of pump spreaders (signage) supplied by HPCL to the Column of the canopies at no extra cost.

e) 14 gauge thick MS Blanking sheet on all sides of the canopy shall be provided. The sheet shall be provided in such a manner as to prevent water ingress completely. Proper care should be taken while fabricating & installing the MS sheet so that there is no gap between two parts & it should be devoid of waves & should have smooth finish without any sharp edges. Welding wherever done shall be ground to obtain smooth finish. MS sheet should be thoroughly cleaned of all splatter, slag, rust, dirt & other foreign material by using wire brush, sand paper, chipping etc. before painting. The MS fascia should be in a straight line through out the maximum deviation allowed shall not be more than + 15 mm or the entire length of one side. Payment for this item shall be made basis RMT of sheet used considering fascia width of 800 mm.

Section 3

(A) Structurals

3.A.1. Primary FramingPrimary Framing shall include columns and rafters. All the elements of the primary framing shall be designed, engineered and supplied to site in factory finished ready to use condition, manufactured out of 240 MPa hot rolled steel plates and sections conforming to IS 2062 : 1999 latest edition. All the elements of the roof and column structurals shall be supplied with pre-drilled, pre-punched and pre-weld condition and no hot works or fabrication at site shall be allowed and provision of down take assembly shall be made. Steel used shall be from SAIL I TISCO I IISCO I VSPL / JISCO / Jindal only except for small sections as specified. Necessary proof of the same shall be submitted.

3.A.2. Secondary FramingRafters and purlins shall be of MS conforming to IS 2062 : 1999 latest edition. All other specification for these items shall be as per 3.A.1 only. For, 3.A: 1 & 4.A.2, all hot rolled members shall conform to IS 2062 or BS EN 10025S 275. All built up sections shall conform to IS 8500 or ASTM A 572 or BS EN 10025'S 355. AII cold rolled sections such as purlins etc. shall be of Grade 50 Steel or equivalent.

3.A.4. Anchor Bolts:Foundation / Anchor bolts shall be as per design given by HPCL and grouting should be done in a manner which meets all the design specifications.

These shall be supplied as per the required designs and shall be manufactured out of IS 2062: 1999 latest edition steel solid bars with threading on the top side. One set of nut and washer shall be supplied alongwith anchor bolts and fixed. Party to issue material test and quality certificate regarding confirmation that it conforms to the specification mentioned above.

3.A.5. Small Sections :Angle up to 50 mm x 50 mm, channel up to 75 mm x 40 mm, flats & square bars etc. should be made from steel ISI marked/approved as approved by EIC. However party has to submit the manufacturer‘s test certificate for conformity to IS 2062: 1999 latest edition. If required, material will be sent to laboratory for testing & cost will be borne by contractor. HPCL reserves the right to approach directly to manufacturer for verification/authenticity of test certificates/ other documents submitted by contractor.

3.A.6. Reinforcement Steel : Supply ,fabrication , hoisting and placing in position HYSD reinforcement bars conforming to IS 1786 : 1985 latest edition Grade FE 415 as per detailed drawing and specifications including cutting, bending, cranking and tying with 18 SWG black annealed binding wire complete.

3.A.7. Painting SystemAll the column and roof structurals shall be supplied after applying first coat of the paint as specified in following table after cleaning by wire brushing etc. as specified earlier. Subsequent coats of paints shall be applied as per tabulated plan. For MS structures except columns and fascia cladding two options of the painting system are given. Contractor can choose any one of them. For columns and MS fascia only one option of the painting system is given. Party to ensure sufficient drying time after each coat all complete as per direction of EIC. Digital elcometer shall be arranged by the party at site to record the DFT (Dry film thickness).

For columns and MS fascia painting the colour used should be FRENCH BLUE / as directed by EIC.

3.B.1 Roofing System:

Tracdek Klippon roofing system comprising of concealed fixed type roof panels. Flashing, Capping made out of 0.55 mm TCT AZ 150 Bare galvalume steel. The substrate for roofing shall be 275 MPa steel and conform to ASTM 792/AS 1397. The coatings should by aluminum and zinc ally comprising 55% AL, 43.5% Zinc & 1.5% Silicon as per ASTM : A792.

The coating mass should not be less than 150 gm per sqm (total of both sides). For, bare galvalume and coating, TCT (total coating thickness) should not be less than 0.55 mm.

Sheets shall have approved side laps with top sheets facing away from the prevailing weather. Necessary profile filler box should be provided at higher level of roof sheeting and at valley gutter to ensure water tightness in the profiled gaps. The fixing of roofing shall be done in such a manner that the roof is not drilled I punctured for fixing with the purlins.

HPCL approved makes are of Interarch, Lloyd Steel, Hunter Douglas & Tiger Steel, Conwed, Speco and Multicolor. Party can choose any of the above makes for execution of the job.

The roofing should be done so as to ensure leak proof installation. In case any leak is observed , the same has to be rectified at no extra cost.

3.B.2. Flashings, Cappings and trims:

These shall be formed out of same substrates as that of the roofing sheets and shall be supplied in standard lengths of 2.5 M in the required shapes and girths and fixed by means of hex-head mechanically galvanised stitching screws. Silicon sealant non-hardening neutral cure type shall be applied at all laps to avoid water seepage.

3.B.3. Gutters:

These shall be formed out of 20 gauge GI sheets or more thick ( if required for proper sealing) and shall be supplied in standard lengths of 2.5 M in the required shapes and girths with end caps, straps assembled with proper joint pieces riveted and sealed with Silicon Sealant or better material and to provide the GI sleeves for water flow through down take pipes. It shall be fixed by means of M6 galvanised stitching bolts. Silicon sealant, non-hardening neutral cure type shall be provided on all laps.

PVC pipes 150 mm diameter, 4kg/cm2 shall be used complete with compatible down spouts and elbows at terminating ends. Silicon sealant shall be applied at all junctions of the assembly. Rate to include all bends, elbows, reducers and other fittings as required. Payment will be made basis actual running meter of pipe only. All The discharge of rain water shall not be done on the driveway near the islands. PVC pipe used should be ISI marked or as approved by EIC. Payment shall be made basis RMT of pipe provided.

3.B.5. False Ceiling – Metal Ceiling System: (150 mm wide or 200 mm wide)

Metal Ceiling System shall comprise of exterior grade Interlocking Ceiling panels, Carriers, Suspension -System and edge closure flashing as per the following specification:

Supplying and installation of 150 F /200 F ceiling system (exterior grade) comprising of 150 mm x 17 mm deep panels, roll formed out of 0.5 mm thick pre-coated galvanized steel (base steel 240 MPa yield strength and coated with zinc in a min. Thickness of 180 gm per sqm total of both sides). The sheet material should be sourced from original manufacturer / through authorised import agents only.

The panels shall be degreased, pretreated and pre-coated on one side in, manufacturer's standard Colour shade (matching the shade of luminare cover) min. 20 micron, on the exposed surface. The rear side of the panels shall be given a coat of primer and a wash coat while the finished side shall be given a coat of primer and finish colour coat in polyester paint for a min dry film thickness of 20 microns.

Fixing arrangement shall be on to the roll formed carriers 34.5 mm x 48 mm deep out of 0.6 mm thick galvanised steel with prongs to hold panels in a module of 150 mm at maximum 1.2 m c/c. The carriers to be suspended from roof truss by rigid suspension rods with special height adjustment spring steel clips at maximum 1.2 m c/c. Hangers to be fixed to the roof by "J" hooks and nylon inserts as per manufacturers recommendation. Panels shall be supplied in custom length upto max. of 5 m. Job also includes providing ceiling flashing using factory formed 0.5 mm thick polyester coated galvalume steel material or of the false ceiling material. False ceiling material with panel widths of upto 200 mm is also acceptable, as approved by site EIC. The carriers shall be powder coated in approved shade.

HPCL approved makes/brands are Interarch, Luxalon ,Hunter Douglas, Tiger Steel, Conwed, Speco, Harsons and Metacil (Mfg. M/s Mascot Overseas Pvt. Ltd.). Party can choose any of the above makes for executing the job.

3.B.6 - Illuminated banding as specified shall be provided by other party and not included in the scope of this Tender.

The width of the banding shall be minimum 800 mm for all canopies irrespective of size. CANOPY FABRICATOR should provide required provisions so that the banding box can be fixed on the canopy facia, without having need to cut the roof materials.

Integral 150 / 250 Watt Metal Halide Luminaire: Integral; totally enclosed low/mid bay luminaire with super high purity hammered finish anodised aluminium reflector and side mounted control gear suitable for 1 x 150 / 250 W metal halide lamp (double ended).

Integral Recess Mounted totally enclosed (IP 65) under canopy mid bay luminaire suitable for 150 / 250 W double ended tubular metal halide lamp fitted using ceramic, RX 7s-24 lamp holder with silver plated SS contact. The housing to be constructed in die cast AI alloy with heat dissipation arrangements finished in high quality stove enamel white of shade matching to metal false ceiling. The housing to have accessories like impulse type ignitor. low temperature rise heavy duty copper wound inductive MHL ballast duly wired with high-heat / voltage resistant XLPE insulated Cu wire with Loop-in Loop-out arrangement mounted on removable tray for easy maintenance.

The optical controller should be precisely designed and tooled up for wide beam spread and high vertical illumination constructed in high efficiency bright hammered finish pre-anodised aluminium reflector.

Lamp and control gear compartment should have separate hinged die-cast frames (lamp compartment frame sealed with toughened glass) fitted to housing using eight numbers of special antimagnetic stainless steel loss proof screws-and SS compression springs for hinging. The luminaire should have facility for 4 point suspension using suitable suspenders. Silicon rubber gasket to be used for avoiding ingress of moisture, insects and longevity.

Lamps 150 / 250 Watt Metal Halide:

The lamp should be 150 /250 W double ended metal halide lamp of day light color.

Rate to include Supply termination and fixing of suitable MCBs of make as specified / ISI marked and glands with sealing complete.

Section (04) PERGOLA STRUCTURE:

Supply, fabrication, erection, installation and painting of Pergola structure fabricated out of MS Plates conforming to IS 2062 : 1999 latest edition Gr. A/B. Rate also includes necessary MS rolled structures, welding in accordance with IS 816 using ISI (Bureau of Indian Standards) marked electrodes (AWS A 5.1/ E6013), nuts and bolts (Make GKW or TVS) of grade 8.8 for main structural connections and of grade 4.6 for minor connections, foundation bolts conforming IS 2062 : 1999 latest edition, grouting etc. complete.

Fabrication will be done basis such approved drawing only. Cut sections shall be machined/ground smooth and shall strictly conform to drawing dimensions. Hot work shall not be permitted at site and the structure shall be fabricated/shop assembled in contractor's yard before bringing to the site. The fabrication drawing shall have structural elements identified and numbered for replication during actual work. After erection the contractor shall arrange and submit a stability certificate issued by a chartered/ licensed engineer for each and every Pergola separately.

The Pergola installed should be integrated and suitably fastened with the building structure and necessary modifications, if needed, should be carried out and restoration done after installation at no extra cost.

Structurals shall be painted after brush cleaning all rusts, scales, splatters etc. Approved Paint System - First Coat in Shop: Epoxy Zinc Phosphate primer - 30 Micron (Epilux 13HB make Berger or equivalent); Second Coat at site before erection: Epoxy Zinc Phosphate primer - 30 Micron (Epilux 13HB make Berger or equivalent); Third Coat after erection and touchup: Synthetic enamel paint - 30 Micron (Torpedo Synthetic enamel –make Berger or Equivalent make ) Final Coat of Approved Colour: synthetic enamel paint - 30 m (Torpedo Synthetic enamel –make Berger or Equivalent make ). Total thickness (DFT) of painting - 120 Micron.

The contractor shall provide Elcometer and all assistance for checking DFT at different stages by HPCL and records will be maintained. Necessary rectifications as advised shall be done by the contractor without extra cost. Only theoretical weights of MS plates/ rolled sections/ foundation bolts shall be taken for payment purpose with exclusion of nuts, bolts, welding etc.

Section (05)

For all structural jobs including canopy, Pergola, manhole covers, trenches etc. all the MS flats, rolled sections as well as the MS plates used shall be of first quality and should be factory fresh. Under no circumstances the steel used shall be of scrap, second quality, rusted, pitted, of second use etc. The corners, edges, cutting, welding etc. shall be properly cleaned and grinded so that there are no sharp edges, corners, cut marks, weld splatter etc. in finish material.

The successful bidder shall submit the following along with each supply at appropriate stages to EIC.
