Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Flying to Kathmandu is in itself an exciting and memorable experience. On a clear day you will

get a panoramic view of the snow-capped Annapurna mountain range. In the airport, after completing the visa formalities,

a signboard as well as our company signboard, Annapurna Foothills Treks & Expedition. You will be taken to your hotel in our

vehicle, where you will be served free welcome drinks, tea or coffee or juice as you check in.

The Managing Director of our company will meet you in the hotel and provide more information about the expedition. Your

dues must be cleared before we proceed on the trip. Afterward, you are free to relax or explore around the city. Overnight stay

at hotel.

the biggest village along the entire Everest trail. Overnight stay at guesthouse. Included Meals (B L D)

Day 05: Acclimatization day- Trekking around Namche Bazaar

We will spend a day here in order to acclimatize and adjust to the thinner air. We will visit a museum which displays the

traditions and customs of the Sherpa people. We hike up to the Syangboche Airport around Everest View Hotel where we

can see the panorama of Khumbu peaks. Overnight stay at guesthouse. Included Meals (B L D)

Day 06: Trek to Thame, 3820m We start trekking from Namche bazaar towards Thame. Thame is at the far end of

the Khumbu valley, and you may feel it is also almost the ends of the earth! The local inhabitants are still untouched

by modern civilization. We go past the large prayer flags, the entrance monument, Chorten and the carved Mani

stones. Overnight stay at guesthouse. Included Meals (B L D)

Day 07: Trek to Lungdeng, 4500m The trail to Lungden today passes though ancient Sherpa villages with stone

walls encircling them, such as Tarang. This is a dry area, so the flora and fauna is different than what you have seen

so far. We may also have to share trail with Tibetan yak caravans, as this is a trading route from Namche to Tibet.

Overnight stay at a simple lodge at Lungden. Included Meals (B L D)

Day 08: Rest day: Trekking around Lungdeng Today we rest in preparation for a big day tomorrow. We visit the

Nakpa valley, the old trade route to Tibet, and take a short hike to the nearby Darkyachhulung peak and Lake Cho

Relmo. Overnight stay at guesthouse Included Meals (B L D)

Day 09: Cross the to Gokyo Lake The trail starts out with steep ups and downs over rocks before leveling out to

Yak Kharkas (pastures) and Twin Renjo lakes before reaching the sandy ridge of Renjo La pass. We cross a frozen

stream and scramble over boulders on the way down to reach Gokyo Lake. Overnight stay at guesthouse. Included Meals (B L D)

Day 10: Trek to Thagnag 4990m In the morning we climb for around two hours up to Gokyo Peak, 5360m. This is a straight-

forward, but steep climb and also tiring, due to the altitude. It will be worth the effort, as this is one of the best panoramic

views in the Khumbu. From the rocky summit, four peaks over 8000 metres can be seen: Everest, 8848m, Cho Oyo, 8153m,

Lhotse, 8511m and Makalu, 8481m and other awesome peaks.

From here we follow the lateral moraines and walk for two hours on glacial scree across the Ngozumpa glacier, a series of ups

and downs. After crossing the glacier we reach the yak herders' huts and tea houses of Thagnag. Overnight stay in guesthouse.

Day 11: Cross and descend to Dzonglha This day will be a big challenge. You should carry at least 2 liters of water,

as it is impossible to buy in this area. We have to start early morning, between 4:30-5:30. The first two hours we have

a steep climb up to yak pastures, which we call the Chola High Camp, though there aren’t any houses there, rather

you will see Buddhist prayers flags blowing in the wind. The next 1.5 hours is not so steep, but because of loose

stones and uneven ground, we recommend that you use walking sticks, be careful and take the advice of our guide.

The ascent to the snowy Cho La pass is very steep and it will take about 2 hours. From the pass, there is a superb view

of Dzonglha Valley and its lake as well as the impressive North face of Jobo Lhaptshan, 6300m. The descent to

Dzonglha, on the Cho La glacier is an endurance test. Overnight stay at guesthouse. Included Meals (B L D)

Day 12: Trek to Lobuche Base Camp, 4865m, 2 hrs The trek from Lobuche village toward the Lobuche Base

Camp starts out with a gradual incline at a relatively low altitude and quickly becomes steep and rocky when we reach

teh Lobuche Glacier. You will enjoy great views of Ama Dablam, Cholatse, Pokalde, Thamserku, Kantega and others.

After a lunch at Lobuche Base Camp and a couple hours to rest, our guides will provide training on peak climbing

techniques; they will teach you how to use climbing gear: ice axe, climbing boot, harness, jummar, and ropes used at

the summit. The training includes techniques of fixing the ropes and knot and gears. This training is necessary for

your safety and will make your climbing experience more enjoyable. Included Meals (B L D)

Day 13 Trek to Lobuche High Camp 3-4 hrs After breakfast, we begin the strenuous hike from Lobuche Base

Camp to the Lobuche High Camp, 5600m. The path is over rocky moraine. Upon reaching the high camp, we set up

our camp, have lunch and rest. One highlight of the day will be to see the incredible sunset on the mountains from the

high camp. Included Meals (B L D)

Day 14 Lobuche Peak Summit, 6119m Summit- Return to Base Camp: 7-9 hrs Early in the morning we set out

for the summit of Lobuch East, where you will get one of the best views of the greatest mountains in the world:

celebrating our accomplishment and taking pictures before heading down to Base Camp. Included Meals (B L D)

Day 15 Reserve Day (in case of unfavorable weather) Since we cannot guarantee favorable weather for the

scheduled summit day, we have allowed an extra day in the schedule. If we are unable to summit the Lobuche Peak

on due to bad weather or some other reason, such as someone in the group having acclimatization problems, it is

useful to have an extra day. If the trip goes smoothly, and we do not need this spare day, we will continue our return

journey to EBC and Pokalde Included Meals (B L D)

Day 16: Trek to Gorak Shep and back to EBC (Everest Base Camp), 5363 m Today we trek on past Gorak Shep

5130m, to reach Everest Base Camp. After celebrating our efforts and photographing this achievement, we return to

Gorak Shep. Overnight stay at guesthouse. Included Meals (B L D)

Day 17: Early Morning ascent to Kala Pattar 5545 m and descent to Dingbuche, 4400m An early morning climb

will take us to our destination peak, Kala Pattar, following the Khumbu Glacier. From Kala Pattar we will see the sun

rise and enjoy superb views of the surrounding mountains. We descend for lunch at Lobuche, 4915m, and continue

down to Dingbuche. Overnight stay at guesthouse. Included Meals (B L D)

Day 21: Chhukung to Island Peak Base Camp, 5200m From Chhukung, the path climbs steeply toward the South

and the turns East, following the valley along the moraine from the Lhotse glacier. We continue a short yet pleasant

walk along the river side which leads to Big-Rock. From this point a 40 minute climb will take us to Island Peak Base

Camp. We set up tents at base camp for eating and sleeping. Included Meals (B L D)

Day 22: Base Camp to Summit 6189m and descent to Chhukung We have to start early in the morning to climb

through the rock channel. Although it is not difficult, there are many short rock steps to be crossed before you come

across the other side of the channel. Then the trail leads to the ridgeline where you traverse the snout of the summit

glacier. You will need to rope up for the glacier as it contains several crevasses, which leads with little difficulty, to a

100m snow and ice slope (40-45°) on which the guides will fix a rope. From the top of this slope, 3 rope lengths

along a sharp summit ridge will take you to the top. After enjoying the summit view, you will descend all the way to

Chhukung, 4710m. Overnight stay at guest house. Included Meals (B L D)

Day 23 Reserve Day (in case of unfavorable weather) Since we cannot guarantee favorable weather for the

to have an extra day. If the trip goes smoothly, and we do not need this spare day, we will continue our return journey

to Lukla. Included Meals (B L D)

Day 24: Trek to Namche, 3441m gradually, we trek down to Dingboche and again pass through the Pangboche

village, the same trail we used on the way up. The trail leads down to a river. After crossing the river, we walk for an

hour up through the forest and reach Tengbuche after continuously to Namche. Overnight Lodge Included Meals (B L D)

Day 25: Trek to Lukla Boosted by all our new red blood cells, we rush down the footpath toward Sagarmatha

National Park gate, in Jorsale. Later, Lukla's footpath leads us back to the first villages we saw two weeks ago:

Gumila, Phakdingma, and Choplung. The high peaks disappear behind the hills. In Lukla, this last evening in the
