ABOUT THE POSITION

Highnote Foundry is looking for a Head of Product Management to work with our Growth Lab. The Head of Product Management will lead a cross-functional team and work along-side the Consulting Services team to rapidly take new business ideas from concept to tangible product in-market.

The Head of Product will oversee rapid development and testing of multiple product concepts at any given time and will own Highnote Foundry’s product development process.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, but knows what it takes to design, build, launch, and drive adoption for great products within both large and small companies. He/she must be comfortable in a number of roles – being able to engage senior clients at one moment and work with technical teams the next. Ultimately, the candidate must be capable of creating products that deliver real value and push them through the product lifecycle.

Need to Do

• Define, develop, and execute product vision, roadmap, requirements, and performance metrics based on high-level strategy, business opportunity, and customer needs

• Validate product strategy with internal stakeholders, in-market with customers, and through market trends • Mediate conflicting objectives to create alignment across multi-disciplinary teams and balance business

opportunities with design and technical opportunities / constraints • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the product development process: conceptualizing, wire framing, rapid

prototyping, user-testing, and UX/UI design/development • Manage and develop cross-functional teams to create great, commercially viable, product and user

experiences

Need to Possess

• 7-10+ years of product management experience, particularly with digital product • Demonstrated experience successfully owning the end-to-end product lifecycle – driving product planning,

development, launch, and adoption • Understanding of, and experience with, design processes, software development methodologies (Agile,

Scrum, etc), and data analysis / database skills • Proven ability to work well with, and earn respect of, developers, designers, data-scientists, and strategy teams • Exceptional written and verbal skills to communicate effectively with clients, developers, marketers, designers,

and strategists

• Passionate about product – love translating high-level strategy into tangible user experiences, and designing, building, and shipping innovative product

• Entrepreneurial – can find creative ways to circumvent roadblocks and hurdles, identify revenue generating opportunities, and push products into market quickly

• Data-driven – capable of designing, running, and interpreting user / market tests and providing actionable product recommendations

• Outstanding project manager – able to identify, communicate, and manage staffing requirements and project dependencies and risks, and keep projects on target

• Passionate learner who is constantly discovering and forming opinions on the latest technology, business models, and new ventures
