Char and I are delighted to invite you to joinus on an 10-day spiritual pilgrimage to visitthe lands and places that were integral to TheLife and Teachings of Paul. This once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage will bring many locations inthe Book of Acts to life and provide newinsights into the letters and epistles of Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles and the greatestmissionary of Christian history.

Char and I have been blessed by previous trips that traced Paul’smissionary journeys. Each provided us, and those who journeyed withus, wonderful new perspectives on the Scriptures, opportunities togrow in faith, and renewed passion for the church’s mission.Imagine yourself in Athens, standing in the marketplace (agora)where Paul debated with the leaders of the many religious andphilosophical schools that flourished there. Some of the Greeks tookPaul aside and asked him, “May we know what this new teaching isthat you are presenting? It sounds rather strange to us, so we wouldlike to know what it means” (Acts 17:19-20). The deep “strangeness”and mystery of the Christian message is perennial, as is theimperative to not only understand it with our minds, but to also let itshape our hearts and lives. Through this pilgrimage you will beconfronted, shaped, and enlightened in new and profound ways bythe “strangeness” of the Gospel. Come and explore once again “whatit means.”

We look forward to seeing you on The Journeys of Paul!
