Event Details:Stage MTB Enduro over approx 49km in Highland Perthshire.

What is it?All the best bits from one area of Highland Perthshire in one ride. The Highland Perthshire MTB Enduro brings you lung puffing uphills, technical downhills, fast fire road, and above all else the chance for a fun ride with your mates. The course is approx 49km long and there will be several timed stages, prizes and maybe even a party. Hold on to your helmets the first Highland Perthshire Enduro is here!

Suitable for:Intermediate+ mountain bikers. 16+ years

Event Details:Uplift service for the downhill mountain biking tracks in Craigvinean Forest, Dunkeld.

What is it? DH Uplift, with several routes and multiple lines down the hill it is a great chance to race your mates, hone your skills and top the board. PLUS FREE timing! Limited spaces, advanced booking required (07825 322 225)

Suitable for:Off road cyclists, intermediate or expert. Any bikes suitable but full suspension recommended.

Event Details:Take a day to get out and explore some of Perthshire’s most stunning countryside.

What is it?A guided bike ride through Griffin Forest, enjoying a variety of different trails and getting up close and personal to the new wind turbines!

Meet us at our centre in the morning for tea, coffee and an introductory meeting. We will then drop you and your guides at the start of your adventure, provisioned with a picnic lunch.

Suitable for:All abilities and types, recommended 12yrs+.

Event Details:BBQ and all abilities Bike Ride at Comrie Croft Trails.

What is it?Strathearn Mountain Biking Club invite you join us for our annual BBQ Bike Ride at Comrie Croft Bike Trails. A fun blast around some trails, followed by a sausage and burger fest. Rides will be led by qualified local experts, and there will be different levels of rides to cater for all abilities. Come and try out the skills park, or tackle our challenging hand built singletrack. Friendly, informal and fun.

Suitable for:All levels, but a mountain bike is a requirement. Bikes available to rent on the evening from Comrie Croft Bikes.

Progression Bikes Downhill uplift taster eveningTuesday 7th May (6pm-9pm) Progression Bikes,The Chalet, Atholl Arms hotel, Dunkeld, PH8 0AQ

Event details:Your chance to try out the Uplift service for downhill mountain biking, for free!

What is it? The downhill uplift service is for downhill mountain biking using the tracks in Craigvinean Forest, Dunkeld. This type of mountain biking finds riders pushing (or getting a lift from the landrover and trailer) to the top of the track, they then ride the track down back to the bottom. The track is a challenging descent of tight bends, steep terrain, rocks and roots. If you are new to downhill, would like to try the tracks out for the first time, never been sure if the Uplift service is worth the money or if you didn’t even know it was there, this is your chance to try it out for FREE.

Suitable for: Off road cyclists, intermediate or expert. Any bikes suitable but full suspension recommended. Limited spaces, booking essential.

Event details: ByCycle opens its summer series of leisurely Wednesday evening rides with a family ride around Birnam.

What is it? The ride starts from the Birnam Institute at 6.30pm and follows the Tay from fishing hut to fishing hut, through the Hilton grounds, a distance of around 8 miles. Afterwards some people may wish to stay on for a drink and a chat at a local inn.

Event Details:Special Open Afternoon just for the Highland Perthshire Cycling Festival

What is it?Bouncy castles, free climbing, face painting, a fantastic bike obstacle course including PUMP TRACK! The Cycling Centre will be having a discount evening, with many items on offer. Maintenance staff will be on hand to give you advice on looking after your bike! BBQ with Dunolly Burgers and stacks of Homemade cakes.

Event Details:The Birks Cinema are hosting this exciting evening of cy-cling films, both amateur and a big feature.

What is it?The amateur films will come from you guys. So, if you ever wanted to make your own film about your favourite riding spot in the hills behind your house or get creative with some great cinematography or think you’ve got the skills to put Danny Macaskill to shame then now’s the time to let us all see!
