Four BOCES provide workforce training , offering adult vocational education, in addition to training for high school students. These larger-capacity trainers are an important part of the workforce development landscape in suburban and rural areas of Western New York.

24 trainers offer vocational and other training programs that prepare students for higher-paying, mid-skill jobs that require skills but not a always a two-year college degree. These include occupational titles such as Electrical and Electronics Drafters, Web Developers, and Architectural and Civil Drafters. Many offer programs for older students or those already in the labor force seeking to advance and/or maintain skills.
