The EuroTel High Power, Air-Cooled solid-state transmitter series has beendesigned for digital TV standards as well as for analog TV standards, covering awide range of available output power. High power density, excellent transmissionquality and superb reliability are the main features of EuroTel Air-Cooled series.
ETL3100RT exciter technologies provides today’s broadcaster unmatchedperformance, reliability and quality. The EuroTel High Power transmitter is a singletransmitter platform capable of DVB-T/H, DVB-T2, ATSC, ISDB-T / ISDB-Tb, digitalstandards and analog standards.
EuroTel transmitter is capable of serving broadcasters needs for efficient, easy tomaintain transmitter systems. New LDMOS device technology delivers a highincrease in power density, ensuring high output power and lower operating costs.

High Power, High Efficiency via EuroTel TechnologyThe EuroTel High Power, Air-Cooled series offers high powerand high efficiency due to design technology and powervoltage regulation circuit. This regulation mechanism in amplifier modules yields a major increase in efficiency. The supply voltage for the power transistors is adjusted asa function of the output power and frequency significantlyimproving efficiency.New LDMOS device technology delivers a high increase inpower density, ensuring high output power and loweroperating costs.
Enhanced RedundancyThe EuroTel transmitter supports a range of backup optionssimplifying on-air servicing and eliminating costlyinterruptions. In dual-drive systems, the integrated controlsystem monitors exciters and switches control of RF feed.High redundant design in amplifier modules also makes theEuroTel Air-Cooled series a very rugged, reliable transmittersfamily.
Maximized coverage with Multistandard ETL3100RT ExciterThe EuroTel multistandard exciter performs full signalprocessing from the video/audio input signal (analog TV) orthe transport stream (digital TV) to the standard-conformingRF output signal. The ETL3100RT EuroTel exciter isextremely versatile and can handle the DVB-T2, DVB-T,ISDB-T / ISDB-Tb, ATSC and DVB-H digital as well asanalog standards.A GPS receiver for time and frequency references is alsoavailable.
Monitoring, Web interface and remote controlEach power amplifier module has dedicated control andmonitoring to support on/off functionality and alarms forreflected power, temperature and current over-loads.The transmitter control unit handle both internal and externalcommunications and provides all control functions.All transmitter, cooling system, exciters and amplifiersparameters required for diagnostics can be retrieved locallyas well as remotely from anywhere in the world via astandard (IP) protocol and standard software (web browser,SNMP). This allows to accurately evaluate the transmitterstatus of unattended stations.

The use of high efficiency, high power gain LDMOS powertransistors in conjunction with modern compact designtechnology, allows to obtain highly efficient amplifier modulesas ETL0474G / ETL0474VE.This power amplifier is Air-Cooled.Supply voltage for the power transistors is adjusted as afunction of the output power and frequency significantlyimproving efficiency.Redundancy design and high quality components makeETL0474G / ETL0474VE amplifier module extremely ruggedand reliable.Metering and protection circuit is provided to monitor all theamplifier parameter and manages potentially critical situationas overtemperature, power failure, output reflection powerand many others.
