HISTORY
The business, HIC Omega Consulting was founded in February 2014 by the owner
Carolyn Kristy Correia. She is the principal consultant and sole proprietor.
The nature of the business is communications consultancy and motivational speaking
Some of the services provided are:
• Copywriting
• Scriptwriting (documentaries)
• Newsletters
• Press releases, public information articles, features, reviews, blogs, other promotionalcontent including brochures and calendars.
• Motivational workshops around the author’s book, other speaking engagements
• Team building events – Birthday clubs, Mother’s Day & Father’s Day functions
• Other events as required – Book launches, Administrative Professional’s Day, Reward& Recognition Programmes

WHAT’S IN A NAME?
The name HIC Omega Consulting was chosen to leave a legacy in honour of the
owner’s parents. The letters represent their names:
H - ubert (her father, the reason for her inspiration, now deceased)
I - rene (her mother, the pillar of the family)
C - arolyn/Correia (her name/family name)
Omega – representative of her positioning in the family. She is the last of her parents’
5 children. Alpha and Omega in the Bible means “the beginning and the end.”
Consulting – the main focus of her practice.

• Broadcasting Certification (Eddison Carr’s School of Voice).
Workshops – Storytelling, Advertising, Marketing, Industrial Relations, Intellectual Property and more.
Experience–
10+ years Human Resource, Communications and Freelance Journalism experience across the
following industries: Microfinance, Media, Hospitality & Tourism, Trade & Industry.
