Extended Parameter Set andFeature RichHI 83200 2008 Series is a multiparameter benchcolorimeter dedicated for laboratory analysis. Itcan measure up to 45 methods using specificliquid or powder reagents. The amount of reagentis precisely dosed to ensure maximumrepeatability.

The 2008 Series of the HI 83200 benchtopphotometer from HANNA offers all the featuresfrom our previous popular series plus manyupgrades and improvements that make theseinstruments much more versatile and easy to use.

These instruments have been completelyredesigned to accommodate more sophisticatedoptical systems, resulting in greaterreproducibility of tests. These new casingsfeature a cuvette compartment door thateliminate external light disturbances.

The 2008 Series also feature a graphic, backlitLCD which greatly enhances user friendliness.The method selection and set up modes areclearly shown on the LCD. Each method’smeasuring procedure is displayed on the LCDtaking the user step by step through the process.At any stage in the measurement process orduring setup, the help button will show contextsensitive help. All these features are available ina user selectable language. Additionally, the helpscreen also list the required reagent sets,accessories and customer support contactinformation.

The 2008 Series eliminates confusion byautomatically converting readings to otherchemical forms. Common conversions areavailable at the touch of a button.

Other features included in the 2008 Series are aUSB connection to transfer logged data (theinstruments allow up to 200 data points) and thecapability to run on rechargeable batteries or a12 Vdc power adapter (included).

HI 83200, like other instruments in thisseries, runs for hours on common 9Vbatteries. In addition, it can operatecontinuously with a 12 Vdc adapter

HI 83200 is also extremely simple to use.The front mask lists all the parameters innumerical order and the display shows thesame numbers for a quick reference during testing.

The meter can be zeroed with a blank(unreacted sample) in seconds and thereagents cost much less than what youhave been paying. All this and much moreat a fraction of the cost of expensive andcomplex spectrophotometers!
