... works ... and has been the least challenge!
Since the Perseus is a well known "buddy" meanwhile, only a short information about the
"Non-HFIA-Standard-Antenna" ROHDE&SCHWARZ HE 011
will be given subsequently:

Monitoring SW Implementation and putting to work of WBHF_Channel_Availability_Measurement.exe
went flawlessly.

Monitoring SW The next step of processing the data required somewhat more patience but
thanks to Bill's tireless help even this rock could be mastered successfully. Bill, a big, warm Thank You for your support!

Monitoring SWA little joke
Forgetting to connect the antenna to the receiver renders even thelongest monitoring session useless!

Licensing Issues
Refering to my last presentation ...
122SP-T - wir09.09.2014
NationalWhat do we do?
The Goal: Extension of the permissible bandwidth of the currently allocated testfrequenciesInformal contacts to BNetzAFirst results / statements:
Our basic request is understood by BNetzA. A quick response targets to the frequency range 25,7 MHz bis 26 MHz. The unusability of this proposal for tests inside Germany and Europe is understood by BNetzA as
well. The further treatment of HF licensing implies the inclusion of "all HF stakeholders"
This process can't be awaited! An "at any time revocable license" on a nib (non interference base) on some frequencies was not
excluded in a recent conversation. This (inofficial) statement makes me feeling hopeful. No doubt: The official, international process has to be started asap and has to run in parallel to
our (i.e. WG) needs.

... we continued our step by step "broadcast-band" policy andcould score a stage-win:

This frequency formerly has been used by
Bayerischer Rundfunk
our regional broadcaster!

... and again returning to my last presentation:
My plea:Carry on applying for WBHF licensesLet's mutually exchange the frequency informations"Internationalize" the WBHF frequency licensing process

A Farewell to a large HF Broadcast Site in my Neighbourhood
A short survey of rise and fall of the Wertachtal broadcast transmitter siteLocation:
172SP-T - wir09.09.2014
The Begin
The HF broadcast site has been planned and erected on the occasion of the Olympic Games 1972 in Munich. In the first extension it comprised 7 self tuning 500 kW plate modulated transmitters and a very large curtain antenna field with gains up to 20 dbd
182SP-T - wir09.09.2014
The Prime Time
192SP-T - wir
• 17 transmitters (even DRM) were operating• Many international broadcasters (even VoA)
used the site• In 2009 still more transmitters would have
been required to satisfy all broadcasting time enquiries
09.09.2014
The End
202SP-T - wir
• Due to the decline of HF broadcasting the use of the station decreased continuously
• By 2013 no longer any transmissions took place from there
• The complete station including all antennas will be torn down by end of this month
• The HF broadcast listeners community is sad - we are happy with the prospect of getting WBHF frequencies
That's life
Thank you for (HF) listening!
