Mariëlle Daudt represents global corporations and major national companies onlabor issues. She has substantial experience in international project managementand working with clients headquartered in the U.S and U.K. regarding employeetransfers, the restructuring/downsizing of European workforces, intra-groupharmonization of employment conditions/policies, and compliance projects. Sheheads the Labor & Employment Practice in Amsterdam.

Mariëlle has advised (supervisory) boards and senior management teams withemployment law issues regarding EMEA responsibilities involving collectiveredundancies, post-merger integration, appointment and dismissal of statutorymanaging directors and executives, management and consultancy agreements,corporate governance, directors' and officers' liability, disputes on post-contractual restraints such as noncompete issues, global/pan-Europeanincentive schemes and equity participation, collective disputes, harassmentcases and discrimination law, employee participation rights, internationalsecondment constructions and global expat handbooks, and fraud investigationcases.

Prior to joining Jones Day in May 2014, Mariëlle was a partner at a global lawfirm, where she conducted legal proceedings regarding board dismissals andmanagement fraud within the real estate, financial, and transport sectors. Shesuccessfully represented a Dutch multinational commodity service provider forthe global agricultural markets in legal proceedings against its former seniortraders about long-term incentive claims. She also handled the internationalemployment aspects in a variety of complex acquisitions and cross-borderrestructurings and advised on works council issues and trade union negotiations.

Mariëlle regularly writes for legal magazines and is a frequent speaker atconferences on employment law topics.
