HEROES FOREVER, STARS FOR A DAY Created especially for military groups, the Country Music Hall of Fame ® and Museum’s Heroes Forever, Stars For a Day package begins on Music Row with a guided tour of Historic RCA Studio B, Nashville’s oldest surviving recording studio, and one of the most important studios in the world. Opened in 1957, Studio B has produced more than 35,000 songs and over 1,000 hits, including more than 240 recordings by Elvis Presley. Following the tour, your group will assemble “choir-style” to record your military branch song in the very room where Elvis tracked “Are You Lonesome Tonight?,” Dolly Parton recorded “Coat of Many Colors,” and Roy Orbison sang “Only the Lonely.” At the end of the session, each member of the group will step up to the microphone to state his or her name and rank, which will be included at the end of your group’s recording. All participants will then have their voices on CD forever, as a one-of-a-kind keepsake from this unique Nashville experience. From Studio B, your group will travel downtown to enjoy a self-guided tour of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The Museum honors America’s servicemen and servicewomen. Country music has always held a special connection with our military personnel, and the Museum hopes this package will make for a truly unforgettable day.
