the FSD compressor in this appliance works in the frequencymode the ERF2000 power board supplies 5V square signals with variable frequencyeach frequency is associated to a compressor speed as per the diagram next slide

Control of The MINIDAC Fan

the Minidac fan is switched onif selected by the user with the MODE button (the fan symbol will be shown in the display)if super cooling mode is selected, i.e. the fridge is set to 2°Cfor 6 hours (the term “Shopping” is used for some brands)by software, depending on ambient temperature, difference between set and actual air temperature in the fridge, door opening time, etc.

compressor speed is determined by software, basically as afunction of

ambient temperaturefreezer setting

further to this, speed is temporarily increased ifcummulated door opening time is longer,the difference between setting and actual temperature is higher

Compressor ControlNight Mode

Night Mode (labelled „Special Performance Mode“ for some brands) is designed for minimum noise if ambient temperature is above 14°C, the compressor is running continuously, at the speed shown in the graph next slideif ambient temperature is below 14°C, the compressor runs at 1000 RPM, but with sensor-controlled on/off cycles

1. Long beep, all LCD elements are on, then offPress “°C” or “Mode” to advance to the next steps

2. Compressor test (display shows “0”)For this and the following load tests use the “ON/OFF” button toswitch load on or off. Load on is shown by in the display. When advancing to the next test, the load is left in the last status.

3. Magnetic valve (display shows “1”)

10. EEPROM code and software variant code:each code starts with a long beepcharacters of the same code are divided by short beepsautomatic advance from on character to the next

11. After this, the magnetic valve is activated 6 times

12. Press “ON/OFF” to end the service mode(without this action, service mode will end automatically after 40 minutes)
