My enclosed resume provides you with an overview of my nine (9) years of industrial, research, teaching and educational experience. I am currently working as Assistant Professor at BITS Vizag engineering- College teaching Mechanical Engineering courses and facilitating laboratory. In the past, I worked as a Research Assistant in the E-Foundry Lab at IIT Bombay. My work at IIT-B gave me an opportunity to understand the recent developments in metal casting, especially related to casting design and simulation. My responsibility was to create 3D CAD model based process animations, properties, data about different casting alloys, journaling technical papers. I also worked as a Research Assistant in the Biomedical Engineering and Technology center (BETiC) at IIT Engineering Bombay (funded by the Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission of the Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai, along with the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi). The goal of this research is to facilitate rapid translation of innovative ideas from expert surgeons into high-quality low-cost healthcare devices for indigenous manufacturing and use. Prior to my research career, I worked at Sanketika Vidya Parishad, (A Group of Educational Institutions Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh), polytechnic college. I was initially offered a Lecturer Position that soon translated into a Head of the Department for Mechanical Engineering. Later, I was transferred to the Engineering College as an assistant Professor. I taught subjects such as: Engineering Drawing, Manufacturing Process, Machine Drawing, Kinematics of Machinery and Metrology. My professional career began at the end of my Bachelors degree, I was selected for a job through my engineering college on-campus interview. It was my first interview that made me start my career as an Engineering Design team member for Tipton Intellectual Property Operation PVT, LTD. Hyderabad, A.P, India. I worked for 1 year and I am involved in designing and developing intellectual property drawings using Multimedia COREL-DRAW. It is my passion for problem solving skills and creative thinking that motivated me to continue my education, teaching and research career. I am skilled in using packages like Solidworks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, CATIA, Unigraphics, and COREL-DRAW. With fresh and foremost research and academic knowledge from IIT Bombay, M-Tech from AU, teaching experience at polytechnic and engineering college and a perfectly blended hands-on experience as a design engineer, I consider myself as a motivated candidate for Research. Thank you very much for your review and kind consideration and looking forward to hearing from you soon. Yours sincerely, Hepsiba Seeli

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to introduce myself to you as post graduate of Andhra University (AU) 2011, Mechanical Engineering with specialization in (CAD/CAM).

Details of Academic Projects:

Masters in Engineering Project:

Buckling Analysis of a Composite Shell (Under the Guidance of Dr. A. RAMAKRISHNA,

Professor Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, Andhra University College of Engineering, VSP)

Designed and developed composite cylindrical pressure Vessels for marine and aerospace

applications

Composite material properties are selected based on operating pressure range, performance and

weight

The lower the weight, the better the pressure vessel. One way of lowering the overall weight is to

reduce the weight of the shell structure

Stacking sequence and the fiber angle arrangement is crucial to the strength and performance of

composite material

Comparisons were made using two approaches: Finite element model and theoretical model

Cylindrical pressure vessel was modeled and analyzed using 3-D Finite element technique using

ANSYS-12.0

Factors considered are stiffness, buckling load and weight to optimize composite material for the

shell

Static analysis and buckling analysis were performed on composite pressure vessel for minimum

mass under strength constraint

B.Tech Project:

Fabrication and Simulation of Desktop model CNC lathe machine

Designed a computer model of CNC lathe using Pro/E

Developed a G & M Code (Preparatory and miscellaneous functions) for Lathe to enable motor

controller communication through process plan.
