Hardware Design for 300KW Dual rotor single- stator axial Flux PMSM drive

Role:Hardware Design for power circuit,Verifying 3D layouts,Control card Schematic preparation

using ORCAD,PSIM simulation for verifying the theoretical values, Documentation,PCB level

Analog and Digital Circuits Design.

Description:This drive will be having two three phase inverters will single input connecting

parallel. The input source for this inverter is battery. Each inverter is driving 150KW PMSM motor

.Here we are using Encoder for rotor position sensing and for controlling we are using Vector

control Technique.

Application: Propeller applications

120KW Variable speed Drive for BLDC Motor

Role:Design and Selection of Power circuit Components(IGBT,DC Bus Capacitors,snubber

capacitors,current sensors,Contactor), Designing Controller for PWM Pulse generation using ASIC IC along

with Orcad Schematic and PCB layout. Complete testing and Documentation of Results and its Analysis.

Description: This Drive functions as a three phase inverter whose output is AC with a Trapezoidal wave

shape by taking rotor position sensing feedback from hall sensor. The input source for drive will be coming

from Battery .Here we used Fairchild's FCM8202 controller IC for PWM generation and for controlling the

speed of Motor we used Analog based PI control technique. This controller will drive the BLDC motor

inside water with different speeds from 100 R.P.M-3600R.P.M by taking 120 KW load.

Design & Implementation of Integrated 60KW Drive for BLDC Motor

Role:Design and Selection of Power circuit Components(IGBT,DC Bus Capacitors,snubber

capacitors,current sensors),Designing Controller for PWM Pulse generation using ASIC IC along with Orcad

Schematic and PCB layout. Complete testing and Documentation of Results and its Analysis. Simulation

using PSIM and MATLAB Commissioning and Presentation of prototype to the Customer and Clarification

of Doubts over Telephone.

Description:This Drive functions as a three phase inverter whose output is AC with a Trapezoidal wave

Role:Testing and Analyzing results, Prepare mechanical drawings in Auto cad(bus bars for capacitors,

supporting plate for PCB's ), Selecting of Power components. Design of protection circuits, Preparing Design

Documentation,Preparing root cause analysis for failure.

Description:The rating of the Inverter is 45-55Vdc input and 230Vac,50hz,sine wave output. Here for

6.6KVA Inverter we used IGBT as a power devices for switching and for pulse generation we used D.S.P &

for 60VA inverter we Intelligent Power Module as a power device and for switching we used Micro

Controller .The o/p of these Inverters will be given to step up transformer for voltage 28Vac to 230Vac.

Application:Using in telecoms sites

DC-DC Converter Design

Role:Magnetics Design(Transformers and Inductors),Component Selection,Preparing documentation,

Preparing Orcad Schematic and PCB layout. Simulation using PSIM.

Description:The rating of the SMPS is 48Vdc input and o/p is 12Vdc@12A. Here we used Flyback

topology for designing SMPS. Here we used Average Current mode control for regulating the output.

Application:Using in battery charging applications
