Emergency Care Benefit$900
bi-weekly for up to 15 weeksTemporary income support for workers who must
stay at home and have no access to paid sick leave
Self-employed, sick or quarantined,
or directed to self-isolate
but do not qualify for EI sickness benefits
Self-employed taking care of family member who is sick
with COVID-19
but do not qualify for EI sickness benefits
EI-eligible and non EI-eligible working parents who must stay home without
pay because of children who need care
(e.g. sick, school closures)

Emergency Support BenefitTo support workers not eligible for EI and who are facing unemployment

10% Wage Subsidyfor eligible small businesses,
not-for-profit organizations and charities
