EGDR808 DRUM MACHINE
PATTERN PLAY
You can choose one of the 12 rhythm pattern or one of the 4
fill
available.
First of set the play mode knob on MANUAL PLAY, then click on
one
of the 16 step buttons to choose one of the 16 rhythm saved into
the
current preset.
Now press the START/STOP button to start the step sequencer
and
rotate the TEMPO knob to set your desired tempo; you can
choose
another groove clicking again on one of the 12 step buttons, or
you can
enqueue a fill pressing the TAP FILL button.
When EGDR808 is playing, you can stop the sequencer with the
STOP button - The sequencer will
stop when reaching the last step.
It’s also possible to set the AUTO FILL IN, choosing after how
many measures the selected fill will be
auto triggered - available values are 16, 12, 8, 4 or 2
measures.

RECORD YOUR PERFORMANCE
Set the play mode knob on RECORD PATTERN to save your songs and
patterns into an audio
file.
When the record mode is enabled, just press the START button and
play any pattern you want.
When you will press the STOP button a recording of your
performance will be saved into the
MUSIC folder of your device
PATTERN CLEAR
Set the play mode knob on PATTERN CLEAR to delete a pattern;
user can choose the pattern to
clear and apply it by pressing the red button next to the play
mode knob.
PATTERN WRITE
Rotate the play mode knob on PATTERN WRITE.
Now click on one of the 16 step buttons to choose what pattern
you want to edit, and press the
START button to listen to it.
User can edit each instrument individually, clicking on the
INSTRUMENT button in the top
section of the app to choose the drum kit piece to edit.
When the flashing light that indicates the current position of
the sequencer will reach the steps
enabled for the selected instruments, the sound of the chosen
drumkit piece will be triggered.
The step sequencer will be enlighten according to the pattern
groove, and you can tap on the
step you need to make the selected instrument play.
The volume for sound with accent will be controlled by the
ACCENT level knob in the top of the
screen.
When the pattern writing has been finished, you have to rotate
the play mode knob to MANUAL
PLAY to set EGDR808 in PATTERN PLAY mode.
