    LuggageWe would like to draw your attention towards luggage rules to avoid lastminute problems. Note that your baggage allowance as per prevailingrules for Europe are as follows

    Cabin bag: Not exceeding 6 Kg per person.

    Check-in baggage: Not exceeding 20 Kg per person.Note:Any domestic travel within South East Asian countries may restrictcheck-in baggage to 15 Kg per person.Avoid following articles in cabin baggage

    Any liquid items such as oil, lotions, crmes (You may carrymax 60 ml)

    Nail cutters, Knives, Swiss knives etc. If you need to carry any medicine (especially in liquid form or

    ointment) then it has to be declared. You may need to hand

    over the same to the air line crew and they will make itavailable during the journey if necessary. All creams, lotions (no more than 60 ml) should be put in

    plastic transparent zip-lock (re-sealable) bag

    PassportPassport is the most important document while travelling abroad.You need to take utmost care of your passport. You must carry yourpassport all the time with you while travelling and you should producethe same whenever requested by various authorities. During stay, youmay keep your passport in the locker provided by hotels. Loss of passportnot only puts an end to your journey but it may put you and your fellowtravelers in a difficult situation.You may need to produce your passport at following places

    At all airports during departures and arrivals At the time of exchanging currencies or en-cashing travelers

    cheques Crossing transnational boundaries (At all check posts)

    In the event of loss of passport you will have to bare all expenses forI. Procuring new / temporary passport from local Indian EmbassyII. Accommodation, food arrangement till the time you get your

    authorized travel documentIII. Transportation for the return / forward journeyIV. Any other expenses that may incur to get out of the situation

    Airport Procedures (Departure)Here are detailed instructions to follow from the time of arrival at theairport till you board the aircraft.

    Arrive 3 Hrs before at the airport and report to your tour leaderat the gate

    Tour leader will hand over your tickets and passport. Check your tickets and passport carefully. It is advisable to note down PNR of your ticket. That will help

    you to retrieve your ticket in case you misplace the same. Proceed to airport entrance.

    Scan your check-in baggage before proceeding to boardingcounter.

    Proceed to your airlines boarding counter. Be in the queue and wait patiently till your turn Security guards may ask few questions. (Such as whether you

    have packed your own luggage?, Have you accepted anyparcel from anyone?)

    At boarding counter handover your check-in baggage You may have to pay for the excess luggage (if any) You will get boarding pass and baggage tags for your check-in

    baggage You may also receive an embarkation form (If you dont, you

    may please pick up from desk near immigration check) Fill up the form and proceed to immigration counter Keep your passport, boarding pass, and embarkation form

    ready After immigration proceed to customs and security check

    You may need to put your wallet, coins, waist pouch, belt., andother such metallic articles for scanning along with your cabinluggage

    Make sure you have collected all your belongings after thesecurity check

    Proceed to departure gate (Gate number is mentioned on yourboarding pass)

    Wait at the transit lounge till the boarding announcement Proceed to board the aircraft You may need to open your cabin luggage for the security

    check before boarding

    Airport Procedures (Arrival at Destination) During your flight the cabin crew will handover disembarkationform Fill the form After alighting cross the aerobridge and wait for Sachins TourLeader Keep your passport, and disembarkation form ready forimmigration Proceed to Immigration gate

    Be in a queue meant for Foreign nationals immigration Make sure that you collect your passport before leaving thecounter After immigration proceed to collect your baggage (Beltnumber will be displayed at the terminal) Collect your baggage from the belt Make sure you are collecting your own luggage by verifyingthe baggage tags Proceed to customs Assemble at one place as instructed by tour leader and wait

    for your tour leader Follow the tour leaders instructions

    HotelYour comfort being our first priority we provide you hotels not less thanthree star category. Please note that some of the services /facilitiesprovided by these hotels may not be free.

    Check-in process

    On arrival at the hotel please wait in the lobby till your tourleader allots you a room

    Your tour leader will give instructions regarding the nextitinerary

    Please make a note of the room number of your tour leader. You may proceed to your room

    Rooms

    Most of the hotels provide either double, twin or triple accommodation.Sachin travels tries its level best to get the most suitable accommodationfor you. However room allocation is at the hotels discretion. Most of therooms are non-smoking. If you want to smoke do so only in the smokingarea.

    Room Services

    Unlike India most of the hotels in SE Asia do not provide bed tea.However you may use tea/coffee sachets provided by Sachin Travels...Some hotels may provide tea maker if not, use water from the hot water

    tap.

    Room Facilities

    It is absolutely important to note that following facilities provided by thehotel are not free of cost

    Mini bar and /or snacks bar Local / STD / International call dialing Internet Laundry Pay channels on TV

    Before availing any facilities please take care to find out whetherthe services are free or charged.Please note that each individual has to bare all charges towardssuch facilities that he/she may avail.

    Breakfast

    Most of the hotels provide American buffet breakfast that is included inyour tour cost. Please do not expect Indian dishes (like Idli, Dosa, and Pohaetc.). However few of the following items can be expected

    Choice of fruit juice Cereals / flakes Choice of egg items (Boiled eggs, half fried ect.) Fruits Pastry / cakes / muffins / cookies / breads etc. Choice of some non-veg items (such as sausages, beacons etc) Choice of some veg items (Such as hash brown, smashed

    potato, boiled vegetables etc.) Tea / Coffee/Milk

    Check-out process

    Make sure you have collected your belongings only Vacate your room Submit your room keys at the reception Pay charges for chargeable services (if you have availed any) Follow tour leaders instructions

    CoachesAll the buses are comfortable 2 x 2 AC super luxury coaches. Most of thecoaches have double door, which ensures easy entry and exit for alltravelers.Please note that unlike India; travelling conditions are so good thatwhether you occupy front or rear seats makes no difference. In fact,sometimes the rear seats are more suitable for photography.

    We request you to Follow all the rules & regulations of local transportation

    authorities Maintain cleanliness. Littering the coach is strictly prohibited. For discarding any left-over use trash bags Note that your coach driver is a professional service provider

    and commands proper respect.

    circumstances

    CurrencyIn SE Asian countries we deal with four different currencies. 1) HK Dollar 2)Malaysian Ringgit 3) Singapore Dollar and 4) Thai Baht. It is advisable tocarry only US Dollar since it is easily exchangeable in other currencies.Prevailing rules allow you to carry foreign currency as follows

    A currency worth 10,000 US Dollar per person (Equivalent toINR 480,000)

    Out of which you can carry worth 2000 USD only in cash Rest of the amount should be in form of travelers cheques.

    WeatherThe weather is hot and humid throughout the year except Hong Kong andGenting Highland (Malaysia) where you will enjoy pleasant weather.It may rain anytime. Sudden rains do not be cause any hurdle or lead to

    change of plans in our tour. It is recommended carrying at least oneumbrella per family.

    Food

    As described earlier the breakfast will be American breakfast at all hotels.However, lunch and dinner will be exclusively served in the best of theIndian restaurants.

    Dress CodeThere is no formal dress code for this tour. However some of the placesthat we are visiting endorse certain dress code

    Collared shirt / T-shirt in casinos (NO round neck T-shirt / pull-

    over etc.) Wear shoes during visit to casinos (floaters, slippers are not

    allowed.) Three-fourth / shorts, are strictly prohibited casinos There is no dress code for ladies

    Time differenceThe time difference is as follows

    Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore is 2.5 Hrs ahead of IST Thailand is 1.5 Hrs ahead of IST

    InsuranceThough the insurance is not mandatory for this tour it is advisable to haveoverseas insurance. For insurance assistance Sachin representative willcall you before your departure.
