    Help Menu

    Use the commands on the Help menu to access information about the following:

    Online help system and documentation. The current module. The commands of the current software package. The table of contents and index of the online documentation. The online tutorial. The tool bar and hotkey functions.

    When you choose Help, a menu similar to the following one appears. Each menu is

    dependent upon its module and varies accordingly. For example, this menu is particular tothe 3D Modeler:

    Help Commands

    The commands in the Help menu are:

    Not all of these commands are present in all modules.

    Help/About Help

    Use this command to learn how to use the features of the online documentation, such as

    the scroll buttons, the menu commands, and the hyperlinked commands.

    > To find out information on how to use the online documentation:

    Choose Help/About Help.

    The information on how to use the online documentation appears.

    Help/On Context

    Use this command to access help on a command or on an area of the screen you choose.

    > To access help on a particular command or user-interface item:1. Choose Help/On Context. A cursor with a question mark appears.2. Select the menu item, icon, or portion of the screen on which you wish to access

    the online documentation.

    A help screen appears, displaying pertinent information on the item you have chosen. Ifno documentation is available on the item, a window appears, explaining the error.

    About Help Provides help on the online help system.

    On Context Provides help on the commands or part of screen you click on.

    On Module Provides an overview of the current module.

    On AnsoftHFSS

    Accesses the first page of the online documentation.

    Contents Accesses the table of contents for the online documentation.

    Index Accesses the index for the online help system.

    Tutorial 3D Modeler. Accesses the online tutorial for the 3D Modeler.Shortcuts Provides a list of hotkeys and the uses of tool bars.

    Help/On Module

    Use this command to learn about the current module you are in. For example, if you are inthe 3D Modeler, this command will read Help/On 3D Modeler. Choosing this takes you to

    the online documentation on the 3D Modeler. Similarly, if you are in the Post Processor,the command will read Help/On Post Processor. Choosing it takes you to the first pageof the documentation on the Post Processor.

    > To access the documentation for the current module:

    Choose Help/On Module.

    The documentation on the current module appears.

    Help/On Ansoft HFSS

    Use this command to get a description ofAnsoft HFSS, its features, functions, and uses.This command takes you to the first page of the online documentation.

    > To access the online documentation:

    Choose Help/On Ansoft HFSS.

    The first page of the online documentation appears.

    Help/Contents

    Use this command to access the table ofcontents. The table of contents is organized bymodule in the sequence in which you are expected to use the modules.

    > To access the table of contents: Choose Help/Contents.

    The table of contents appears.

    Use thiscommand to access the index. The index lists all headings, commands, and top-ics covered in the online documentation.

    > To access the index:

    Choose Help/Index.

    The index appears.

    Help/Tutorial

    3D Modeler

    Choose this command to access the online tutorial on the 3D Modeler. The tutorial givesexamples of how to draw various objects in the 3D Modeler.

    Help/Shortcuts

    Use this command to get a list of hotkeys or uses of the tool bars. These allow you to exe-

    cute commands much faster than by using the commands in the menu bar.Hotkeys Lists and explains the hotkeys.

    Tool Bar Explains the uses of tool bars.
