Hello parents, carers and friends of Sandy Beach Public School, Sports Carnival Our annual Athletics and Cross Country carnivals were delayed due to Covid-19. As there are no district or state carnivals for students to progress to higher levels, we are conducting these events for school records only. These will be modified, with only Years 3 to 6 participating and unfortunately no parents on site. Field events will be running during grade sport time over weeks 1 and 2 with Athletics Carnival held on Friday 7 August. We are aiming to hold our school Cross Country for Years 3 to 6 on Thursday 3 September. Nationally Consistent Collection of Data Every year, all schools in Australia participate in the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD). The NCCD process requires schools to identify information already available in the school about supports provided to students with disability. Further information about the NCCD can be found on the NCCD Portal (https://www.nccd.edu.au). See attached information. School Banking Students school banking will commence again next term. First banking day is Thursday 23 July. School bus route number change From Monday 6 July 2020 all school buses will be changed to new route numbers. Please see attached notice for more information or go to www.forestcoachlines.com.au or www.transportnsw.info Canteen The school canteen will not be open Week1, Term 3. Students should continue to bring their own crunch ‘n sip, lunch and afternoon snack. Look for Skoolbag notice regarding opening date for the canteen.
