INTRODUCTION

I am a BSc Engineer (mechanical) and MSc Project Manager with over 25 year of work

experience in offshore and shipbuilding industry. I am multilingual with excellent

communication skills which I have adopted through my long career managing and

coordinating international and multicultural projects and site teams in various countries such

as Monaco, France, Norway, China, The Netherlands and Finland.

I consider myself as an expert managing complex hydro-electric-mechanical applications for

offshore and marine industry meeting the most stringent fabrication and instrumentation

requirements and standards. I have successfully completed Turn Key projects in owners’,

builders’ and manufacturers’ organizations. I am familiar with the relevant marine and

offshore rules of classification societies as DNV GL, ABS, LRS and BV. I have an extensive

experience working as a project manager, package manager, purchaser, EPIC manager and

designer within various large vessel projects (from 100MEUR to 1000MEUR) as CALM Buoy

Terminals, Subsea PLEMs, Navy vessels, Passenger Cruisers, Ferries, Container Carriers,

LNG tankers, Cable Layers, Subsea Pipe Layers, Topside removal/installation Vessels,

are managed, designed, fabricated, installed, tested, preserved, packed,

delivered and transported to site and meet requirements stated in contract.

From builder’s point of view review and comment vendors’ documents such

as drawings, calculations, equipment/material specifications and functional

descriptions etc. Review and comment ITP-/FAT- and commissioning

procedures. Create/reply reports, NCRs, change requests and technical

queries. Monitor and control vendor’s performance and quality accuracy

against project time-, cost- and scope baselines. Participate tests,

commissioning, and approval process. Coordinate logistics and final delivery.

Review and comment suppliers’ engineering. Create documents such as

schedules, specifications and functional descriptions prior procurement, surface

preparation and painting procedures, ITP-/FAT- and commissioning procedures

and manuals. Create logical equipment packages for procurement, confirm the

accuracy of the offered technical and commercial content. Ensure timely and

accurate submittal of approval document packages to classification society and

client. Create and communicate reports. Create/reply NCRs, changes requests

and technical queries. Monitor and control the manufacturing. Ensure safe

execution of the project. Monitor and control project performance and quality

accuracy against time-, cost- and scope baselines. Coordinate tests,

commissioning, approval process, logistics and final delivery. Manage project

closure process, reports and lessons learned.

Manage bidding contest and supplier selection. Identify, monitor and control

risks. Approve vendor invoices. Monitor and control vendor performance and

ensure deliverables (motors, valves, pipes, lifting devises etc) are received in

time and budget. Participate FATs, inspections, coordinate equipment

commissioning (lifting devises, engine rooms, elevators, escalators) in vessel

at yard and onboard during sea trial.
