HEDSA...was formed in 2005 and currently has ~ 60 active members from academia and small businessadvocates for new initiatives to maintain the health of High Energy Density Science and related workforce in the United Statesserves as a point of contact for scientists in the field to communicate with sponsoring agencies for High Energy Density Science reminds those in government that there is a substantial academic and small business community in High Energy Density Science
