Our customers

Why do our customers choose us?

At Fletcher Insulation® we pride ourselves on delivering extraordinary value to you, our customer. Key to this is the ability to offer a mix of standard and innovative products that allow alternative solutions for even the most complex of applications.

Underpinning all of this is good quality products, flexible offerings, the ability to offer a ‘one stop shop’ for all your insulation needs and great customer service.

Quality productWe import and manufacture a wide range of specialised products to cater to the needs of the heavy industrial market. Such products have service temperatures up to 800 oC and as low as -270 oC. This is achieved with various material technologies such as the man made vitreous fibres of Superwool® insulation, nano technology of the aerogel products and the standard spun fibre technologies of both Mineral Wool and glasswool products.

In addition we supply a range of ancillary products that are needed to complete the job such as various cladding materials, mastics, screws and straps.

All products, whether they are locally manufactured or imported, are made to a very high quality standard so that your time is optimised on site.

Innovative and flexible offeringsWe are determined to drive innovation to satisfy the ever changing needs of our markets. Through the various technologies, flexible manufacturing and supply processes, we are able to offer a variety of solutions to any application so that you can optimise the full life cycle of your infrastructure.

One stop shopOne account will give access to all the products and accessories needed to complete a project. This mean less time spent on administration and more time earning money.

Service mattersHaving great products is not enough. Product availability is paramount – if you don’t have it, you can’t finish it. Your customers demand a high level of customer service, you in turn need a supplier who has the flexibility and resources to help you deliver this customer service. This is how Fletcher Insulation® delivers extraordinary value.

Heavy industrial product range

Superwool® insulationThe Superwool® insulation range offers a versatile alternative to traditional insulation solutions for commercial, industrial, and transportation applications. Superwool® fibre products are special alkaline earth composition fibres that have been uniquely engineered to offer advantages in high temperature insulation applications. Such advantages include low thermal conductivity, low bio-persistence and low linear shrinkage up to their use limit.

Superwool® insulation offers numerous features which directly deliver benefits to you, our customer:

Features Benefits

Performs in high temperature applications operating at service temperatures up to 800°C.

l The ability to handle higher temperatures than mineral wool insulation.

Binderless. l The binder cannot burn out when placed against a hot surface.

l Thermal performance remains intact.

l Can be reused in instances where infrastructure needs to undergo maintenance.

Mineral Wool insulationOur FI Industrial Mineral Wool range consists of bonded mineral fibre boards, blankets and sectional pipes. The fine fibre, semi-rigid composition of our Mineral Wool range makes our products easy to handle and install. Providing maximum service temperatures of 350°C, 450°C and 650°C, Mineral Wool insulation is the ideal product for a broad scope of high temperature applications.

Our Mineral Wool range offers numerous features which directly deliver benefits to you, our customer:

Features Benefits

Performs in high temperature applications operating at service temperatures up to 350°C, 450°C and 650°C.

l Allows you to match products to a number of applications.

A well recognised and accepted product within the heavy industrial market.

l Installers are familiar with onsite work practices when it comes to installing Mineral Wool insulation.

Available in a number of facing options.

l Facing enables the insulation to hold together in conditions where thermal shock and vibration are present.

Hi-Temp glasswool insulationHi-Temp glasswool is designed for heavy duty industrial applications such as boilers, heat exchangers, process vessels and large bore pipes, operating at temperatures up to 538°C. The conformability of Hi-Temp glasswool makes it ideal for use on curved or irregular surfaces as well as on flat surfaces where good compressive strength is required.

Our Hi-Temp glasswool range offers numerous features which directly deliver benefits to you, our customer:

Features Benefits

Proven performance in heavy industrial applications.

l Can be used confidently.

Performs in high temperature applications operating at service temperatures up to 538°C.

l Performs in range of applications where mineral wool is typically used.

Manufactured locally. l Easy access to manufacture.l Simplified supply chain

logistics.

Aerogel insulationUsing patented nanotechnology, Cryogel™ Z and Pyrogel™ XT insulation combine a silica aerogel with reinforcing fibres to deliver industry-leading thermal performance in an easy-to-handle and environmentally safe product. These products are essential for those seeking the ultimate in thermal protection for cryogenic applications and the ultimate thermal efficiency in high-temperature applications.

The aerogel insulation range offers numerous features which directly deliver benefits to you, our customer:

Features Benefits

A thin high performance insulator.

l The overall thickness of your insulation requirements can be halved.

l Supporting infrastructure can be reduced in size thus allowing more infrastructures to be fitted within the same area.

Hydrophobic whilst allowing water vapour to escape.

l Expels water, results in less Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI).

Available in two standard thicknesses.

l Reduces your inventoryl Decreases your logistics costs.

Easy to install. l Does not require a great deal of skill to be installed.

l Reduces your part numbers.

Effective product for rectifications.

l Wrapping underperforming pipelines will improve the thermal performance without having to remove existing cladding and insulation.

High compressive strength. l Is less likely to be damaged when exposed to general worksite wear and tear.

Safe to use as it is non-carcinogenic and lightweight.

l Easy to handle.

Product remains pliable at extreme temperatures.

l An extended life cycle.

Product name Description

Vapastop® 883Reinforced Foil Tape

A reinforced, hand tearable aluminium foil tape coated with a high tack synthetic pressure sensitive adhesive. Vapastop® 883 Reinforced Foil Tape is recommended for Sisalation® foil and Sisalation® foil faced insulation products to provide a vapour sealed join.Note: Use the specified Sisalation® MD 440WF white tape with Sisalation® 430WF.

Double Sided Cloth Tape

A bleached cotton cloth coated on both sides with a high tack pressure sensitive adhesive. Each roll is wound with a release liner for ease of handling and adhesive protection.

Insul Clips Insul Clips come with locking washers. Insulation is pressed over the hanger pin and secured in place with the locking washer.

Foster® H.I. Mastic®

Foster® H.I. Mastic® is an asphalt emulsion. It will not shrink or crack (particularly at the critical right angle bends) during curing. It has exceptional weathering stability and develops with its final set a firm, durable surface with good resistance to acids, alkalies, abrasion, and other abuses typical of outdoor industrial conditions. It has no heat flow, remaining hard and stable under all normal operating temperatures.

Foster® No.10 Glass Cloth

Glass Cloth is made as per its different usage by assembling several hundreds of the fine 5μ ~ 13μ thick inorganic fibre. It is being widely used in many industrial fields.

Foster® Sealfas® Coating

Foster® Sealfas® Coating is a white, fire resistive, tough, washable, abrasion resistant indoor coating for thermal insulation. It is also used as a lagging and lap adhesive for canvas and glass lagging cloth. It has excellent brushing characteristics which will result in better coverage and more uniformly coated surfaces. It presents a neat white finish, and will not yellow or become discoloured with age. The surface can be washed free of grease, oil, soot, and other dirt.
