Aitken announces a stainless steel version of their quartz infrared heater. All Aitken quartz heaters are very low maintenance, with many of the original painted models still in service after 25 years. The new models have brushed stainless surfaces to extend heater life while eliminating painting upkeep. The versatile infrared heaters can be used outdoors in public areas for comfort heating and snow melting, or indoors for spot or total heating of high bay buildings. The UL-listed quartz heaters are available in four voltages and four different wattages. Single- and double-lamp models are available. A complete line of Buzzer immersion heater burners, which are designed to heat liquids by firing into a tube submerged in the liquid, is available from Charles A. Hones Inc. Unlike underfiring burners, this type encloses most of the flame inside the tube, increasing efficiency because only the spent products of combustion fmm the flue escape.
