conference with a focus on Health & Wellbeing to be held in Sydney on Saturday March 2 – Sunday March 3,
2013. The main themes Healthivate 2013 will cover include: Eating. Living. Giving. Movement Building.
With an influence reach of over 180 million blog views per annum, Healthivate 2013 is a hallmark event and an Australian first! This includes promotional access to 5000 bloggers through the blogger agency Nuffnang, as well as one of the world’s most influential bloggers, Jessica Gottlieb.
Healthivate 2013 will attract attendees of close to 150 bloggers from around Australia. Virtual tickets will also be available nearer to the event. Key highlights from the conference will be syndicated to participating partners across the blogosphere via a unique widget embedded with real time content.
Bloggers attending Healthivate 2013 will learn from an esteemed list of international and national health activists, social entrepreneurs, and health industry experts, to network and build relationships with potential brands and partners as well as to have a little fun.

A key highlight of Healthivate 2013 will be the appearance of Twitter’s head of social innovation and philanthropy, Claire Diaz Ortiz, who will address the conference. Claire wrote the book Twitter for Good and she will share how social media, particularly how Twitter, offers a unique platform to connect individuals and influence change in ways that were unthinkable only a short time ago. This will be illustrated by recent examples of events in Japan, the Middle East, Haiti, Queensland Floods and more.
Claire has worked with such forward thinking organizations as Nike, Pepsi, The United Nations, charity: water, Room to Read, Partners in Health, Kiva and more. She teaches the T.W.E.E.T model on how to change the world, one tweet at a time.
