Nutrition and Dietetics is an interdisciplinary field that focuses on the principles of human nutrition and foods. The Nutrition & Dietetics program provides students with necessary education & foundation to meet the nutritional and dietary needs of individuals & the community at large. The program is committed to the promotion and restoration of human health through balanced & optimized nutrition. The degree of Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics is awarded following completion of the program requisites satisfactorily by the student.

Major Description

The Medical Laboratory Sciences program provides students with necessary education and practical skills to perform various clinical laboratory tests. Laboratory scientists are engaged in the analysis of blood and other body fluids, cells and tissues through the application of chemical, biological and physical principles in order to evaluate health status, diagnose disease, and aid in the proper management and treatment of disease. The program focuses on the standard clinical laboratory disciplines of Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Microbiology, Immunology, and Blood Banking. The degree of Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences is awarded following completion of the program requisites satisfactorily by the student.

Major Benefits: The Medical Laboratory Sciences program graduates play key role in daily clinical laboratory procedures. They participate in patient care and as such are important members of the healthcare team.

Major Description

The nursing program provides essential education in biomedical sciences & professional education in nursing sciences (both academically and clinically). With focus on health in wellness and illness, the program provide nursing care that assists individuals, families, groups, communities and populations to achieve optimal health, as well as make informed choices for their own well-being.Clinical training is provided in hospitals and healthcare centers. The degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is awarded following completion of the program requisites satisfactorily by the student.

Our nursing program has two sections: 1-General section open to students with no nursing education or experience;2-Specific section geared towards registered nurses (RNs without BS in nursing to be upgraded to RNs with BS in nursing). This is a 3-day/week RN-BSN evening program.
