Division) on deputation basis.2. Officers under the Central Government who fulfill the following eligibili-ty criteria may apply for the post:(a) (i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the present cadre ordepartment; or

(ii) with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointmentthereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 6500-200-10500 orequivalent in the parent cadre or department; and(b) Possessing three years' experience in enforcement of regulatorylaws or investigation of offences and collection of intelligence relatingthereto.(Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same orsome other organization or department of the Central Government shallordinarily not exceed three years. The maximum age-limit for appoint-ment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closingdate of receipt of applications).3.
