YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Lead a department of skilled specialists with very different

educational backgrounds (chemicals, business economics, customs & foreign trade law experts and IT experts) including responsibility for personnel development as well as performance and change management

• Lead and further develop trade and customs compliance as global process owner (m/f) and define requirements for needed IT solutions as well as implement and operate the needed IT solutions (e.g. SAP GTS application)

• Set strategic direction for international trade and customs compliance function and related IT solutions as well as establish networks with other global functions, for example tax, law, procurement, supply chain, regional and international trade as well as compliance center of excellence

• Safeguard compliance and risk management in highly complex context of law along the supply chain end-to-end processes and manage high liability and business risks regarding customs and international trade regulations

• Supervise foreign trade laws in highly complex and global environment with significant legal implications related to customs processing, embargo and export control on goods, anti-terror laws, prohibition as well as restriction legislations

• Define development framework and global delivery strategy while ensuring sustainable and efficient global IT solutions for foreign trade as well as health, safety and environmental compliance services

• Promote a culture for improvements and innovations

WHO YOU ARE• Graduate public fiscal affairs administrator (m/f) / Diplom Finanz-

wirt Zoll (m/f) or degree in finance, customs & foreign trade law or comparable education

Head of International Trade & Customs Compliance (m / f)

• Long-term professional experience in global foreign trade advisory and customs service management for complex and global enterprises with high share of export business

• Several years of experience in managing and leading IT and business service departments in more than one job family (e.g. IT, business consulting, supply chain, tax, QHSE or law)

• Detailed knowledge of global foreign trade and environmental affairs regulations and IT management as well as developing and operating global IT systems

• Deep understanding and knowledge of supply chain processes, life science products as well as business models, finance and tax

• Experience in multidisciplinary service delivery management and corresponding change management

• Competence to keep an overview of complex subject matters, to deduce operational activities and take decisions under time pressure

• Open-minded and pro-active personality with strong communi-cation skills and the ability to act as advisor to the business in order to combine legal questions with business impacts

• Ability to anticipate change setting expectations and clear communications

• Ability to establish and maintain a sustainable expert network • Fulfill the legal requirements (Art. 39 UCC, Art. 27 (1) UCC-IA)
