Administrative sources can be divided in two categories:
Micro data
Aggregated data
1. Micro data can be considered as a main administrative
data Source
2. Aggregated data can be considered as another
administrative data source
Main administrative data sources
National Agency of Public Register (NAPR)
Information on registered business entities
Information on legal address
Contact information
Name of founder persons, e-mail and etc.

Revenue service (Tax office)
Information on active business entities

Turnover and etc.
Main administrative data sources
Information submitted by NAPR and Revenue Service is used for:
Statistical Business Register formation
Business statistics survey frame formation
Additional source for imputation, estimation within data processing and etc.
Other administrative data sources
Different ministries and agencies to produce information on:
Registered cars and vehicles
Passengers
Freight
Roads
Energy sources and etc.
Administrative data sharing frequency
Data from NAPR and Revenue service:
At the beginning of each month via STP Protocol system
Data from other administrative sources:
Upon request via e-mail
Data update procedure
For statistical business register:
Data is updated automatically
It means:
Every changes in administrative sources are automatically
reflected in statistical business register
Data update procedure
Administrative data powerful but not a single facility to update statistical business register
Within update procedure is widely used:
Quarterly and annual business statistics survey results
Computer assisted telephone interview (CATI)
Data update procedure
Data derived from other administrative sources can be used as independent information or as an auxiliary information (for example within energy balance formation).
Data confidentiality
Micro data derived from administrative sources needs to be processed carefully to avoid disclosure.
Data confidentiality is protected by law on official Statistics of Georgia.

Not all micro data can be considered as confidential

It is powerful facility to decrease respondent burden
Easy to control the data derived from the business survey
Easy to use as additional information for imputation procedure
