HDM Steel Pipe was established in 2002 in Gebze, Turkey.

HDM Steel Pipe’s vision is based on specialization in “Total Foundation Pipe Solutions

by providing Project support to the industry”. In accordance with this vision, HDM Steel Pipe

started its Mersin Free Zone Production Operations in 2009. HDM Steel Pipe has a unique facility

in Mersin, producing Foundation Spirally Welded Pipes with its interlocks, tailor made pile shoes,

reinforcement rings for foundations.

The production capacity of foundation piling pipes is 150,000 tons annually and %100

products are exporting to more than 25 countries all over the globe.

Thickness’ above 28 mm, which is beyond world steel mills’ production range for hot rolled

coils, is overcome by manufacturing subject pipes in HSAW from plates up to 35 mm and

unit weight of pipe up to 80 tons. This makes HDM Steel Pipe a world leader in large diameter

helical seam submerged arc welded pipe. HDM Steel Pipe is low cost base production company

with the capability of producing its own equipment so the company becomes competitive and strong

player in the global market.

HDM Steel Mill is located inside of Mersin Free Zone and has direct access to Mersin Port facilities which

enables the handling and loading of pipe in length up to 63 meters long with utilizing its own equipment,

cranes and staff so that pipes are delivered to the destination on time and in perfect condition. HDM Steel Pipe

is being active and prudent in enhancing international cooperation and expanding its business with Project-Based

Partnerships with the world’s leaders.

Mersin plant has been specially designed for heavy wall thickness and long length pipes.

HDM Steel Pipe has its own production designs and doing on site pipe production and coating with producing its own equipment

and steel structures in-house. Mobile plant mobilization and demobilization, production of pile & coating on site for major foundation

projects, provide maximum time and cost benefits to the Customer by minimizing logistics efforts.
