Two Day Course Drive engagement, productivity and business results with
this one-of-a-kind certification course. You’ll learn how to
leverage coaching to improve the way you develop your
talent. You’ll gain the tools necessary to cascade
coaching skills and capabilities to managers and leaders
throughout your organisation, maximising potential and
driving growth across the enterprise.
Leverage Coaching for a
Competitive Edge
Organisations need managers and leaders who use
coaching skills to empower employees to achieve
organisational goals, yet HCI research has shown that HR
leaders continue to struggle with manager quality.
Managers are expected to coach but aren’t given the
tools and knowledge necessary to coach effectively and
aren’t held accountable for the impact coaching has on
teams and the business.
The business impact is real.
HCI research has shown that, year over year,
organisations that effectively leverage coaching
consistently realise higher revenue growth than peer
companies that don’t embrace coaching.

What You’ll Learn HCI’s Model for a Sustainable Coaching Culture provides a complete roadmap for using coaching
throughout your organisation as a tool to drive growth, development and engagement. You’ll gain
immediately actionable resources, tools and techniques to integrate coaching into day-to-day
interactions happening up, down and across your organisation. The model recognises that
coaching’s positive organisational impact is powered through internal practitioner coaches, external
coaches and managers and leaders who coach their people. Leaders, managers and employees
share accountability and responsibility for fostering a supportive environment, leading to powerful
coaching conversations and maximising individual and team performance through the right kind of
growth and development activities.

Learning Objectives
What You’ll Learn
Learn the attributes of a strong coaching culture, powered by research and real
company outcomes and how you can immediately begin to be more effective in
your use of coaching across the organisation; Be given a complete roadmap for implementing, integrating and communicating a
coaching approach, with emphasis on the competencies and tools for managers
and leaders using coaching skills; Learn to improve organisational results through coaching among all employees,
while addressing (and helping change) the negative connotation of coaching being a
remedial measure that it has carried in the past; Gain innovative and practical models, tools and techniques for embedding coaching
behaviours and activities in your organisation.
Traditional View HCI’s View
Coaching is a remedial activity designed to
“fix” a problem.
Coaching drives development, growth,
engagement and performance and the
value of coaching must be communicated
across the organisation.
Coaching is reserved for senior leaders and
delivered via external partners.
Coaching must be accessible to all
employees and is a shared responsibility
among leaders, employees and managers.
Coaching is an assumed skill for managers. Coaching skills must be taught, practised
and supported at the organisational level.
