Now alumni may contribute in all the initiatives through digital connectivity in a non-intrusive manner. Dear Harcourtians,

It has been over a year since the new committee has taken over and since then it has been our endeavour to streamline the Alumni Association activities. We have been updating our Alumni Members about these developments at regular intervals.

January 2019 has brought in good news. The Alumni Association HBTI Kanpur received the required 12AA permissions from the Income Tax Department to collect donation for the activities of the Alumni Association. This issue has been pending for over a decade now and it is not a surprise that members were raising it in almost each General Body Meeting. I think it is the collective good wishes of all Alumni that we have received this permission.

Developing Scientific temper and technical knowledge is our main aim and we continue to strive for that. In the coming months, you will see a spurt of activity. The beginning has been the very successfully conducted TEDxHBTU event which has had wide appreciation and large participation too. I am glad that such news will inspire more Alumni members to come forward and join in to help us achieve our objectives.

Warm Regards
