Well summer is almost over now, The Indians are in a last minute chase for the playoffs and the Browns season has begun with hopes of better times. Speaking of better times, we made it through the lean summer months and hope that with the events we have planned and the cooler weather driving people back inside, our busi- ness will thrive. With that I want to thank the membership for their continued sup- port around the club, for attending the golf outing, picnic, birthday dinners and special events. These events do not become successful without your participation and support. Thank You! The latest special event, Eddie and The Edsels was very successful! Sept Birthday Dinner:

Oh what a meal! Roast pork and

roast chicken, 130 guests all agree

this is growing to be a favorite!

Ralph kept the dancers moving and

Yvonne and Brittany kept the drinks

flowing. Come celebrate with us.

Eddie and The Edsels:

It was like turning back the clock! It felt like a Saturday afternoon

watching Upbeat on WEWS channel 5, of course that could be true

since Eddie and The Edsels were once a group called The Rapid

Transit, the house band for Upbeat. The night was a rousing

success based on the amount of dancers filling the floor. Great

food service from the ladies in our kitchen. If you didn’t have a

good time, then you weren’t there. Thanks to all!

Sunday Browns Funday:

After two weeks the response and feedback from Sunday afternoon

halftime meals has been phenomenal. Thanks to all who go out on

their own to produce this halftime fare for other members!

You are the Greatest! Thanks in advance to those forthcoming.
