Full scope operation and maintenance services The O&M contract encompassed the provision of personnel, consumables and spare parts, including the supply and repair of hot gas path components and major overhauls of the gas turbines. By improving maintenance workflows, STEAG Energy Services (SES) achieved a sustainable net reduction in scheduled outages vis-à-vis the plans of the OEM manufacturers, while keeping maintenance services at a high level. Multi-skill qualification, deliberate selection of staff and efficient plant organization were the keys to set the challenging benchmark. Moreover, SES coordinated the outage schedule with power price trends in the market and predicted load dispatching so as to limit the economic impact of scheduled outages.
