‘Across Time’

Introducing ‘Across Time’, an exhibition of iconic pictures spanning acclaimed photographer John Haynes' remarkable career. The collection includes a selection of Haynes’ portraits of playwright Samuel Beckett, as well as pieces from his private archives, which will be available in platinum,
silver gelatine and fine art digital print in a special exhibition edition.
Haynes’s passion for photography was inspired by legendary photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson’s book Les Européens. After working for two years with The Sunday Times he decided to focus on theatre photography, which saw him take up the position of resident photographer at the
Royal Court theatre for 25 years.
As well as being published by Thames and Hudson, Haynes’ work has been exhibited across the world, in London, Moscow, New York, Buenos Aires and most recently in an audio/visual dialogue
on Samuel Beckett at King’s College Chapel Cambridge.
