WINTER 2017

We all remember the day several years ago when the beloved Memorial Bridge

was re-opened to cars, bicycles and foot traffic. How many times since then

have I crossed the bridge and murmured a “Thank You” to the good Lord. But

what about the people that made the parts for this wonderful bridge? Who are

they? Have they enjoyed the wonder of it all?

Warren’s owner, Scott Cunningham, was contacted by the Canam Steel

Corporation asking if we could accommodate lunch for approximately 80

workers who actually made the parts for the new bridge. These folks were the

“heart” of the project and they had never seen the finished product. The

Warren’s staff got busy planning this special event!

On October 15, 2016 the entire crew boarded two busses to make the trip, from

Claremont, NH to Kittery, ME to inspect their handiwork. On that same trip this

group got to visit the work site of another bridge being restored in Newburyport,

MA for which they are suppling parts.

What an awesome company to work for! Treating the men & women to a day of

pride as they survey the “end product” of all their hard work!

We hope they enjoyed their lunch with fellow workers and we owe them a great

deal of gratitude for a

“Job Well Done”.

We are asking for donations for our furry, four

legged friends. Any cat/dog food, treats or kitty litter will be donated to local animal shelters.

Something this big only happens once a year!

Helping Animals In Need… Every year during our Open House, we collect donations of food, litter or any pet supplies to help area animal shelters.

Giving Back Warren’s Lobster House staff wanted to help a family in need this Christmas Season. They

all chipped in to raise money for this worthwhile cause. A local family was

selected through the help of Kittery Town Hall.

Between the staff($1125) and a raffle we ran to win a gumball machine for our customers

($125), a total of $1250 was raised to purchase toys, clothes, winter jackets & boots

and much needed household items.

It really is great to have such a caring staff and I’m sure the family was very

appreciative!

This past September a couple dined at Warren’s and couldn’t finish their entire meal so they took the yummy leftovers

home. Later that evening, the husband was finishing his scallop dinner

when to his surprise he found a beautiful white pearl.
