Fabrice Personnaz is the last professional sculptor in Bessans. like his father before him, he continues to perpetrate the history of his village. carved in a piece of arolla pine, the satirical devil of Bessans is the emblem of the village since the 19th century. a tradition inherited from the provocation of a villager who in 1857, after quarrelling with the local priest, decided to sculpt a devil carrying the man of the church under his arm.visit the gallery located rue saint esprit.
