While dancing, he discovered his talent for articulating and teaching challenging choreography. That talent transferred easily to yoga, and his students appreciated his innate ability to guide them safely into complex and advanced yoga poses. Initially, Jaye studied Ashtanga yoga with David Swenson and Vickie Sorenson, and he taught within that style for four years before finding Anusara yoga. Now certified in Anusara, Jaye apprenticed with John Friend and has both studied and taught with Betsey Downing, Douglas Brooks, and Sianna Sherman. Presently, Jaye instructs several yoga teacher trainings and leads workshops and retreats internationally. When he is at hone in sunny Sarasota, Florida, he teaches a devoted following at Garden of the Heart Yoga Center.
