Take inspiration from the elegant Parquetdesigns from award winning Britishdesigner Neisha Crosland. FittingThe laying surface should be clean,dry, rigid, flat, and free of damp.Suitable surfaces include plywoodand smoothed (screeded) concretefloors. The tiles bond together withthe adhesive (don’t forget to pop atub in your basket) to form a water-tight seal. Cutting is easy, just makesure you have a sharp knife and lotsof spare blades.

Back in 1994, floors were neglected spaces. Walked over,trampled on and generally kicked around, they were simplythe poor relations of the interiors world.

But we saw floors as a great design opportunity and setout to create something new and vibrant; something thatwould breathe new life into rooms all over the home. Wewanted to wave goodbye to dull, boring and mundane floorcovering and replace it with funky, fun and freshadornment.

We began in the back bedroom of a house in Batterseatogether with a loveable, live-wire dog called Harvey. Andas you’ve probably guessed, it was Harvey who gave thecompany its name.

Our initial quirky and bold handmade collections, producedon cork floor tiles, quickly established the Harvey Mariareputation for individual and innovative floor design. In fact,we built up something of a cult following with our loyalcustomers who would come to the house to collect theirfloors. Well we’ve moved on a bit since those days.

Without being too boastful, Harvey Maria flooring is nowknown for great product design and innovation, and weship our floors all over the world. We’re sure that's becausewe mix fantastic looks and great personality (that’s theflooring, not us) with practicality, resilience and versatility.

A world away from our early experimental creations,Harvey Maria flooring is now tough enough to use in themost demanding spaces. That means bathrooms,bedrooms, and heavily used areas like porches, hallwaysand kitchens. And you’re now equally likely to see ourfloors adorning the interiors of busy shops, offices andhotels.

Harvey Maria floors are easy to clean, slip resistant, and100% waterproof. The tough, durable finish is also resistantto scuffs and scratches, bacteria, dust mites and allergens,and works perfectly with underfloor heating.

We’ve always believed floors should be as much a part ofan interior design scheme as the walls and furniture. That’swhy a Harvey Maria floor is for more than just walking on:it’s a part of your life.
